Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

Jordan Love, Packers

Love remains on the injury report post-bye, but he practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday. He draws a difficult matchup with the run-funnel Bears pass D, one that’s allowed only six passing TDs all season

Caleb Williams, Bears

We’ll see if the Bears offense looks any different under newly-promoted OC Thomas Brown. But Williams – with fewer than 10 fantasy points in three straight – has given you no reason to start him.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions

Jared Goff, Lions

Goff had a rough outing last week throwing five INTs against the Texans. He hasn’t had a QB1 scoring game in the past three weeks, but this is a prime matchup. The Jaguars are third to last in passing fantasy points allowed per game. They had success against Sam Darnold last week, but with the Jags now hitting the road, Goff is a clear QB1.

Las Vegas Raiders at Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins

Tua’s underwhelmed to date, but it’s hard to overlook a home matchup with Vegas. The Raiders' pass defense sits 19th in pass defense DVOA; 32nd in PFF’s coverage grades. Miami’s also implied for a strong 25.75 points.

Los Angeles Rams at New England Patriots

Drake Maye, Patriots

Maye's QB15 finish last week was his worst among four full games this season. And it came against the Bears' top-ranked QB defense. Maye is in a much better spot this week at home for the Rams, who rank 19th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs and are allowing 8.4 yards per pass attempt. Maye is a viable Week 11 spot starter.

Matt Stafford, Rams

Stafford is coming off a TD-less Week 10 vs. the Dolphins -- although he threw for 293 yards. It was his first fantasy finish worse than QB14 in a game with Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp this season. Stafford gets a nice bounce-back spot in Week 11 vs. the Patriots, who rank 30th in pass defense DVOA. The Rams' 24.25-point implied total is eighth-highest on the week.

Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints

Jameis Winston, Browns

Winston’s proneness to turnovers makes him a risk to get pulled at any time. Cleveland’s sticking with him for at least one more week. He sits this low in the rankings because we’ve seen both the upside and downside risk across his two starts. Another outing like his last one might very well get him benched during the game. The Browns have attempted 87 passes over his two starts after averaging just 33.2 across Deshaun Watson’s six full outings. That volume helps. But this week finds a shaky Saints team that enters as a 1-point home underdog. If New Orleans struggles to score, we might see elevated Browns rushing volume. Winston’s an upside play for a QB2 slot but high-risk for 1-QB leagues.

Derek Carr, Saints

Carr managed a QB6 fantasy finish last week. But 40% of his yardage came on two long completions to Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Those catches also produced both of his TDs: One on the reception itself. The other a couple plays after the long gain got New Orleans inside the 5. We know MVS has that kind of deep speed. We also know there’s a lot more history of Carr and MVS letting fantasy managers down than lifting them up. Trust Carr at your own risk.

Indianapolis Colts at New York Jets

Aaron Rodgers, Jets

Rodgers and the Jets were shut down last week. He only had 151 yards passing and no TDs. The matchup gets easier this week against the Colts, however, as they are in the bottom half of the league in passing fantasy points allowed per game. Even with his weapons, Rodgers is a QB2 at best.

Anthony Richardson, Colts

It is a bit unknown in terms of what we will see with Richardson, but his rushing gives him plenty of upside. Unfortunately, the Jets defense is brutal, especially at home. They have bottled up opposing QBs passing and rushing. Richardson is a low-end QB2 with upside.

Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers

Lamar Jackson, Ravens

His current streak marks the first time Jackson has ever thrown 2+ TD passes in four straight games. He has also completed more than 70% of his passes in two straight games, four of his past five, and six of his past eight.

Russell Wilson, Steelers

Wilson sits QB7 in points per game (depending on your format) after three starts. He has been a little fortunate on deep passes. Wilson’s 53.3% completion rate on throws of 20+ yards leads all 39 QBs who have attempted at least 10 such passes, according to PFF. That leaves some room for regression. But it also gives him enticing upside against a Ravens defense that has motivated opponents to pass and allowed the second-most QB fantasy points.

Minnesota Vikings at Tennessee Titans

Sam Darnold, Vikings

Darnold is coming off one of his worst real-life and fantasy performances of the season, posting a 241-0-3 passing line and QB22 fantasy finish in an ugly win over the Jaguars. He's now tossed 5 INTs over his last 2 games, giving us shades of Jets Sam Darnold. He'll look to bounce back on Sunday against a middling Titans pass defense that ranks 18th in DVOA and 22nd in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. The Vikings, though, are implied for 22.75 points, which is tied for just 13th on the week.

Atlanta Falcons at Denver Broncos

Kirk Cousins, Falcons

Cousins popped up on the injury report with a right elbow/right shoulder, but there's been no indication that it's serious. He draws a tough road matchup at Denver. The Broncos are the fifth toughest matchup for QBs, per our adjusted strength of schedule numbers.

Bo Nix, Broncos

Nix enters the weekend with 18+ fantasy points in four of his past six outings. Over the past four weeks, the Broncos have rolled out the sixth-highest pass rate over expected -- a clear sign HC Sean Payton has gained trust in his rookie QB. Atlanta supplies a favorable matchup. They've allowed 2+ passing TDs in six straight outings.

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers

Brock Purdy, 49ers

Purdy has a QB1 performance in each of the last four weeks. He dominated the Seahawks the last time around throwing three TDs. Even without Brandon Aiyuk, Purdy is at the peak of his game. He projects as a clear QB1.

Geno Smith, Seahawks

The Seahawks have moved to run the ball a bit more than early in the season, but Geno leads the league in pass attempts per game. With D.K. Metcalf back, the Seahawks may lean more on Smith, especially if they get down early. Unfortunately, the 49ers defense has generally performed well against Smith, so he sits as more of a QB2 this week.

Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills

Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs

Mahomes hits the road to face a stingy Bills pass defense. They've surrendered only 6.7 yards per attempt and 1.3 passing TDs per game. Interestingly, Kansas City is implied for a relatively light 21.75 points.

Josh Allen, Bills

Allen hits the weekend with 24+ fantasy points in five consecutive outings. He also hit that mark in both of his 2023 matchups with Kansas City. He remains a clear QB1, despite Keon Coleman sitting out and injury questions following Dalton Kincaid (knee) and Amari Cooper (wrist).

Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Chargers

Joe Burrow, Bengals

Burrow gets a much tougher matchup this week than he faced the past two weeks. The Chargers rank fifth in pass-defense DVOA and have allowed just 9 TD passes through nine games. That might be reason to not look Burrow’s way in DFS lineups. But he’s tough to sit off 9 TD passes himself over just the past two weeks. The Chargers have also allowed 2 TD passes apiece to Will Levis and Bo Nix.

Justin Herbert, Chargers

Herbert has gone from just 14.0 fantasy points per game (depending on your format) over his first six games to 23.5 over his past three outings. Now comes a Bengals defense that rates even worse (27th in DVOA) against the pass than any of those three opponents. The Chargers have leaned more toward the pass lately, ranking eighth in the league in pass rate over expected over the past four weeks.

Houston Texans at Dallas Cowboys

C.J. Stroud, Texans

Stroud started off hot last week against the Lions, but fell into bad habits in the second half and couldn’t finish. With Nico Collins back, Stroud is set up for a bounceback game as a QB1.
