If you started Giants QB Jameis Winston in Week 12, then he gave you more fantasy points then you could have reasonably expected. Winston completed just 18 of his 36 passes in Sunday's loss to the Lions. But he tallied 366 yards and 2 TDs vs. 1 INT. Winston found WR Wan'Dale Robinson for the game's first score from 39 yards out on a flea flicker. He added a 33-yard catch-and-run receiving TD early in the fourth quarter. The QB also picked up 13 rushing yards on four carries.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Winston was working on limited passing volume for much of a game that proved surprisingly competitive.
The Giants scored the game's first 10 points and went on to lead by 10 at two other intervals.
Winston threw Robinson's way on 14 of his 33 targeted passes, a huge 42.4%. No other Giant drew more than six targets.
WR Isaiah Hodgins ranked second but caught just two of those. That did include Winston's other TD toss (a 12-yarder).
The game served to remind the upside that Winston brings to fantasy lineups, but it was also the kind of performance that would be tough to replicate.
We probably won't get a chance to see how close he can come in Week 13, with QB Jaxson Dart trending toward a return from his concussion.
The Giants face a pass-funnel Patriots defense next Monday night and then get a Week 14 bye.
