Rams RB Kyren Williams watched his offense gain 333 net yards and tally 34 points in a home win over Tampa Bay. The 25-year-old wasn’t a main contributor, though, mustering only 46 yards on 12 attempts. He caught one pass for 2 yards.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Williams has seen a decline in work in a couple of ways.
First, it’s the usage of second-year RB Blake Corum. He mixed in for a 37% carry share in this one, limiting Williams to a 63% mark. Note that in 2024, Williams registered an 81% carry share.
Williams is also losing goal line work to Matthew Stafford, who ranks second league-wide in attempts inside the ten-yard-line (40). Stafford’s thrown 11 TDs inside the five-yard-line.
Williams will look to rebound this week against a Carolina team that’s playing on short rest (Monday night). The Panthers have performed as a slightly positive matchup for enemy RBs, helping put Williams back in the RB1/2 mix.
