Browns TE Harold Fannin revealed that he had surgery this offseason to address the groin injury he suffered in Week 17 last year. Fannin spent about two months rehabbing and did little in spring workouts, but he was cleared a couple of weeks ago and is now a full participant in training camp.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: TE1 Case Still Intact
We'll keep an eye on Fannin leading up to Week 1, but it doesn't sound like this surgery will have any impact on his 2026 season.
Fannin is coming off an awesome 2025, scoring the fourth-most PPR points per game by a rookie TE since 2000. That followed a historic final college season that saw him set FBS TE records with 117 catches and 1,555 yards.
Fannin faces tougher target competition this year with the additions of rookie WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. And Cleveland's QB play remains a problem.
But Fannin's production the last two seasons speaks for itself. He's our pick to lead the Browns in targets this year and a good bet for mid-range TE1 fantasy numbers.
