Jordan Love called MarShawn Lloyd a playmaker in the Packers offense and described him as “very fast, very twitchy,” per USA Today’s Ryan Wood.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Finally Back In Play
After playing just one game across his first two seasons, Lloyd is finally in position to produce for the Packers.
Lloyd is just two years removed from being an explosive third-round pick. Coming out of USC, his profile presented enviable rushing efficiency. Lloyd posted 2.68 yards per team rush attempt on fewer than 40.0% of the team’s carries. Even dating back to his junior year at South Carolina the season prior, he was above 2.00 yards per team rush attempt on less than 40.0% of the team’s carries.
A healthy Lloyd carries real intrigue in what’s typically one of the league’s higher-scoring offenses. But the past two years for the Packers’ backfield have included almost no healthy Lloyd.
