Michael Pittman Jr. Headshot

Steelers WR Michael Pittman caught just 2 of 4 targets for 15 yards in Thursday night's loss to the Browns. He finished sixth on the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards. His 71% route rate still ranked second among Pittsburgh WRs but was a season low.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Cuttable In Shallow Leagues

QB Aaron Rodgers was visibly frustrated after at least one of his incompletions to Pittman. The pair does not seem to be on the same page, which isn't a big surprise after Pittman missed much of training camp with a hamstring injury and then Week 2 with a foot injury.

That chemistry should theoretically improve over the course of the season. But once you land in Rodgers' doghouse, it's tough to get out. Pittman's route rate has notably declined each game, from 89% to 75% to 71%. He lost more work to WRs Roman Wilson and Germie Bernard in Week 4.

Pittman is worth keeping stashed in deeper fantasy leagues. But we also wouldn't consider him a must-hold in shallower formats. He's not startable right now, and even the best-case scenario isn't exciting.
