Falcons WR Drake London (knee) is out for this weekend’s game vs. the Jets. HC Raheem Morris essentially ruled London out on Wednesday, which doesn’t bode well for his chances of making it back for Week 14. London’s absence again leaves Darnell Mooney as Atlanta’s top WR, although he drew just three targets last week.

He's worth keeping stashed in all fantasy leagues but should be on benches for Week 13. WR Darnell Mooney, TE Kyle Pitts, and RB Bjian Robinson will be the best target bets for the Falcons in New York on Sunday.

Falcons HC Raheem Morris confirmed on Wednesday that WR Drake London (knee) will not play vs. the Saints this weekend. Morris added that he's "hopeful" London will be back for Week 13. Consider it a win if London misses just one game with his PCL injury. We'll keep you updated on his status next week. London's absence leaves WR Darnell Mooney and TE Kyle Pitts as the top two targets in Atlanta's passing game (with RB Bijan Robinson in that mix, too). Neither Mooney nor Pitts is an exciting fantasy play with QB Kirk Cousins under center, although Pitts did catch all nine of his targets for 59 yards with Cousins back in Week 8.

The Falcons announced Wednesday that QB Michael Penix Jr. will miss the rest of the season after further evaluation determined that he needs surgery. Penix partially tore his left ACL. That officially puts the offense under Kirk Cousins' control the rest of the way, with Easton Stick the likely backup.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Falcons WR Drake London suffered a PCL sprain in his left knee in Sunday's loss to the Panthers. Rapoport says London is "out this week and potentially more." The Falcons visit the Saints in Week 12 and then the Jets in Week 13.

Drake London had over 100 receiving yards in the first half of Atlanta's Week 11 loss to Carolina. But London exited in the fourth quarter with a knee injury. If London misses time, Darnell Mooney would be in a position to be the Falcons' No. 1 WR. On Sunday, Mooney played a season-high 61 snaps (92.4%) and drew 7 targets, but again made little impact on the game.

Falcons QB Michael Penix (knee) is off the final Week 9 injury report and will start Sunday’s game vs. the Patriots. It’s good news for Atlanta’s offense after what we saw from QB Kirk Cousins last week, but Penix is no better than a lower-end QB2 in fantasy lineups.

Falcons HC Raheem Morris said Wednesday that he feels "really good" about QB Michael Penix's chances of playing vs. the Patriots this weekend, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Penix remains "day to day" with the bone bruise in his knee, Morris added. We'll keeps tabs on his practice participation over the next few days. Penix has been inconsistent this season. But, after what we saw from QB Kirk Cousins last week, Penix's return would be good news for Atlanta's offense.

Entering Week 8, Falcons WR Darnell Mooney appeared positioned for strong volume. The team ruled out WR Drake London, which removed a 31% target share. But strong fantasy numbers never materialized, as Mooney caught only 1 of 4 targets (12.9%) for 11 yards alongside backup QB Kirk Cousins.

Falcons WR Drake London (hip) is INACTIVE for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. That leaves WR Darnell Mooney and TE Kyle Pitts as the clear top two targets in the passing game. Atlanta, of course, figures to lean heavily on the run in this one as big home favorites against a bad Miami run defense.

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney (hamstring) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report. Atlanta didn't actually practice on Wednesday, coming off the Monday night win over the Bills. Mooney seemingly has a chance to return for this Sunday night's game vs. the 49ers, but he'd be tough to trust in fantasy lineups coming off the hamstring injury.
