Saints RB Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans. With RB Devin Neal on IR, New Orleans is again down to Audric Estime and Evan Hull as their top two RBs. But it was Taysom Hill who led the team with 12 carries last week, adding six targets and a passing score. Hill makes for an intriguing – albeit risky – Week 17 fantasy play.
Saints RB Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Jets. With RB Devin Neal on IR with his hamstring injury, New Orleans is down to RBs Audric Estime and Evan Hull. The team also signed RB Nyheim Hines to the practice squad on Wednesday. Despite the plus matchup, the uncertainty in workload split makes this is a backfield to avoid in Week 16 fantasy lineups.
The Saints placed RB Devin Neal on IR with the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 15, ending the rookie's season. Neal tallied 153 total yards in two games as New Orleans' lead back. He averaged just 3.6 yards per carry on the season, though, and ranked 56th in yards after contact per attempt and dead last among 58 qualifying RBs in Pro Football Focus' rushing grades. Neal will probably need to fight for a roster spot next summer. We'll see if RB Alvin Kamara makes it back this season. If not, New Orleans will roll with RBs Audric Estime and Evan Hull the rest of the way.
Saints RB Devin Neal (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Jets, HC Kellen Moore said Wednesday. Don't be surprised if the rookie is done for the season with what seems like a relatively significant hamstring injury. RB Alvin Kamara (knee, ankle) remained sidelined on Wednesday and looks likely to miss another game. That'd leave New Orleans' backfield to Audric Estime and Evan Hull vs. the Jets this weekend. The team also signed RB Nyheim Hines to the practice squad on Wednesday. This is a backfield to avoid in Week 16 fantasy lineups.
The Colts on Tuesday waived RB Evan Hull. That means any team who wants him would have to go through the waiver process. It also leaves only Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson behind Jonathan Taylor on the regular-season roster.
SI.com's Jake Arthur says "it was quite clear that Trey Sermon is the next man up at running back" coming out of recent Colts OTAs. That followed voluntary sessions RB Jonathan Taylor missed for personal reasons. Arthur adds that RB Evan Hull "appeared to get the initial looks" as passing-down back ahead of RB Tyler Goodson.
Colts RB Evan Hull will miss the rest of the season with a torn meniscus, insider Jordan Schultz reports. Go ahead and drop the rookie in all redraft leagues. The Colts are down to RBs Zack Moss, Deon Jackson, and Jake Funk for now. RB Jonathan Taylor is eligible to come off IR after Week 4.
The Colts placed RB Evan Hull on IR with the knee injury he suffered in the opener. He's out for at least the next four games and can be dropped from all redraft rosters. RB Jake Funk was promoted from the practice squad in a corresponding move. He joins Deon Jackson and Zack Moss in the Colts' RB room. We'll see if Moss is ready to return from his broken forearm for Week 2. Funk is not worth adding to fantasy rosters.
Colts HC Shane Steichen said Monday that rookie RB Evan Hull "could miss some time" with the knee injury that knocked him out of Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. That obviously doesn't tell us much. But it sounds like the kind of thing a coach says when he doesn't expect a player back soon. Hull's absence leaves Deon Jackson in charge of the backfield, which he led with 18 touches for a meager 28 total yards in Week 1. Jake Funk looks like the No. 2 for now. Zack Moss should be back soon, though. And, of course, Jonathan Taylor is eligible to return in Week 5. The Colts also have Jason Huntley on the practice squad. Unless you play in a deep league, Hull looks droppable for help from the waiver wire this week.
Colts RB Evan Hull was knocked out of Sunday's game vs. the Jaguars with a knee injury. That leaves all the backfield work to RB Deon Jackson for the rest of this one. We'll update Hull's status when we know more.
Colts RB Zack Moss (forearm) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. That leaves the backfield to Deon Jackson and Evan Hull. JacksoN is the favorite for touches but is an unexciting RB3 in fantasy lineups.
Colts RB Zack Moss (forearm) has been downgraded to doubtful for Week 1. It looks like it'll be RBs Deon Jackson and Evan Hull vs. the Jaguars on Sunday, with QB Anthony Richardson also likely to be a big factor in the running game. Jackson is the favorite to lead in touches but is an unexciting RB3 or flex play.
Colts RB Zack Moss (forearm) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Jaguars after a limited week of practice. We’re tentatively expecting Moss to play and work in a 3-RB committee with Deon Jackson and Evan Hull. That’d be a situation to avoid in Week 1 fantasy lineups. Jackson and Hull would become slightly better fantasy plays if Moss ends up inactive.
