Jerry Jeudy carted off with leg injury

Per multiple reports, Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy sustained a leg injury in practice on Thursday that required being carted off the field. Team beat writer Zac Stevens tweeted that Jeudy "pulled up after running full speed during a play" and "grabbed his hamstring immediately" before medical staff helped him onto a cart to transport him into the locker room. This offseason has one of dire straits for Denver's WR room. Veteran Tim Patrick ruptured his Achilles tendon at the end of July, and the Broncos waived fellow wideout K.J. Hamler with a non-football illness designation that same day. Add Jeudy's ailment to the pile, and it's an even bleaker picture. However, we'll update as more information becomes available before getting too hasty with looking forward. Rookie Marvin Mims is a name to remember for a possible bump in role should Jeudy miss extended time. Stay tuned.
