Lions HC Dan Campbell said Tuesday that RB Jahmyr Gibbs is making progress with his injured hamstring and should be back on the field next week.
What They're Saying
Campbell on Gibbs: "Our plan is to get him going next week. He's trending the right way and we're hoping the day after the Pittsburgh [preseason] game, we're gonna get a lot of guys back."
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
Gibbs has been sidelined for eight days now, and it sounds like he'll be out another week. But getting back on the field next week will give him two full weeks to get ready for the regular-season opener.
Barring a setback, Gibbs should be 100% for Week 1.
Rankings Movement
