Cardinals QB Kyler Murray managed only 162 yards and 1 score in a Week 1 loss to Buffalo. He completed 21 of 31 passes.
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
Kyler started off just fine, tossing an opening-drive goal line TD to Michael Wilson. But the Bills defense put the clamps on in the second half, where the Cards QB was limited to just 34 passing yards.
On the day, he added value with 57 rushing yards. But there were plays left on the field, including a missed Marvin Harrison Jr. for a potential TD late in the 4th. Earlier, Murray overthrew an open Trey McBride.
We’ll keep an eye on Harrison’s usage going forward; the much-hyped rookie notched just 1 catch for 4 yards on 3 targets. His emergence will be key for Kyler to have a chance at top-five QB totals.
He’ll face the Rams at home for Week 2 – a matchup that’ll find Murray among our top-10 QBs.
