Commanders RB Austin Ekeler (concussion) is out for this weekend's game vs. the Cardinals, HC Dan Quinn said Wednesday. It's concerning that Ekeler was ruled out so early in the week. We'll see if he can clear concussion protocol in time for Week 5's game against the Browns.
Ekeler's absence should mean more work for RB Brian Robinson. He's handled 46% of Washington's carries (76% of RB carries) and 10.5% of the targets through three games. Both marks figure to rise in Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals.
