Christian McCaffrey Expected Back By Early November

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (Achilles, calf) is expected back "at least by early November," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. San Francisco has a Week 9 bye in the first week of November, which makes it sound like Week 10 vs. the Bucs on November 10 is McCaffrey's likeliest return date. HC Kyle Shanahan said Friday that CMC's rehab would start ramping up this coming week, and Rapoport hears that McCaffrey is ready to resume running on the field.
