Raiders WR Davante Adams has informed the team that he "preferred" to be traded, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. (Very polite of Davante.) The Las Vegas Review-Journal's Vincent Bonsignore, meanwhile, reports that the Raiders have begun gauging interest from other teams on an Adams trade. It seems like there's motivation from both sides to get this done.
Adams carries a $25.3 million 2024 cap hit, which will certainly complicate this trade. But there should be plenty of contenders interested in Adams. The Chiefs have the biggest WR need, although we doubt the Raiders would trade Adams in-division. You can bet that QB Aaron Rodgers will be lobbying for a reunion with Adams.
We'll see where this goes, but a move out of Vegas would likely help Adams' fantasy value.
In Las Vegas, Adams' departure would mean target boosts for TE Brock Bowers and WRs Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker.
