Patriots QB Drake Maye threw a beautiful pass for his first NFL TD, completing 20 of his 33 passes for 243 yards for 3 TDs and 2 INTs. He also ran for 38 yards on 5 carries. Maye played within structure to overcome a battered offensive line.

Maye will continue trying to develop as the Patriots’ starter.

The schedule gets easier next week against the Jaguars, one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. Then Maye will have a hard stretch with negative match-ups against the Jets, Titans and Bears.
