Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 10 times for 67 yards in a blowout loss to the Chargers. He added 6 grabs on a massive 11 targets, giving him 13+ PPR points in all but one game in 2024.

Down by 8, the Saints benched Spencer Rattler late in third quarter. Jake Haener fed Kamara three targets on his 17 attempts.

Surrounding the change, Kamara posted a couple of impressive explosives. He busted off a 24 yard run that showcased his power. He added a 37-yard catch and run on a screen, where the Saints had a pair of blockers out in front.

Kamara’s been among the most reliable fantasy assets in the game. Now, he should get Derek Carr back within the next week or two.

Also note: The Saints lost Kendre Miller to another hamstring injury on Sunday. He at least held the potential to eat into Kamara’s workload, but now that’s in doubt.

Week 9 turns up a perfect matchup with Carolina, followed by another favorable draw vs. Atlanta.
