Darnell Mooney Steps Up vs. Cowboys

Falcons WR Darnell Mooney recorded 5 catches, 88 yards, and 1 score in a Week 9 win over Dallas. Mooney saw a team-high 9 targets – a huge 37.5% share – boosted by the first-half departure of Drake London (hip).

Mooney scored on a downfield pick play that freed him up for a 36-yard TD. That gave him five scores for the season – a new career-high. The former Bear has also hit 5+ catches in four of his past five matchups.

We’ll see about the status of Drake London, but Mooney will project as at least a WR3 for a Week 10 date with New Orleans.
