"No Guarantee" Aaron Rodgers Is Back With Jets Next Season

Aaron Rodgers Headshot

The Athletic's Dianna Russini writes that there's "no guarantee" that QB Aaron Rodgers will be back with the Jets in 2025. Rodgers has had a mostly underwhelming season so far, averaging 6.4 yards per pass attempt with 15 TDs vs. seven INTs. The Jets don't owe Rodgers any guaranteed money beyond this season but would pay him $37.5 million if they retain him for 2025. The Jets would own the eighth overall pick of the draft if the season ended today. Rodgers said this week that he wants to continue playing next year, and he'd certainly land a job elsewhere if the Jets decide to move on.
