But he put in a full practice on Friday, and HC Kyle Shanahan said afterward that Purdy is on track to play. “Lots of things can happen between now and then, but right now he's playing,” Shanahan said. But between the injury to his throwing shoulder and the matchup with Buffalo's ninth-ranked QB defense, Purdy is not a recommended QB1 play this week.
