Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa threw three INTs in a Week 15 loss at Houston. Tua finished with 196 yards and 1 TD on 29 of 40 passing.
The Dolphins lost Jaylen Waddle to a knee/ankle injury in the first half. They were also down several linemen.
That at least helps explain why Tua struggled to move the ball. Per Next Gen Stats, he completed only 3 of 10 attempts for 43 yards on passes traveling 10+ air yards. All three of his INTs were intended for Tyreek Hill, who caught only 2 of 7 targets for 36 yards.
Tagovailoa gets the 49ers in Week 16, but he’ll be a risky QB for that one – especially if Miami is without Waddle.
