Former North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton Impressed at the NFL Combine running a 4.46 40-yard dash along with a 38" Vertical (91st Percentile) and 10'10 Broad Jump (98th Percentile). He did all of this while measuring in at 5'11 3/4 and 221 pounds. With a strong showing in the drills as well, Hampton made a strong case to be a first round pick in April.
What They're Saying
Brett Kollman: "So, SO many good running backs in this group, and yet Omarion Hampton still stood out.
He moves like a ballet dancer, floating on every step. Just an unreal athlete.
That’s top 20 right there imo."
Dynasty Impact
Hampton's impressive Combine performance combined with a very strong NFL career likely places him in the sights of the first round of the NFL Draft.
He was one of the smoothest RBs in the Combine Drills and was one of the best at changing direction in Indianapolis.
His size and receiving ability gives him an edge as a PPR back at the next level.
If he is selected in the first round, especially if it is in the top-20, then Hampton will likely rise to the 1.02 in 1-QB rookie drafts only behind Ashton Jeanty.
