NFL DFS Picks for Cash Games and Tournaments

Welcome to Wild Card Weekend!

This week, we're combining FanDuel and DraftKings picks into one article. Of course, you can head to the rankings page to view position-by-position numbers.

You can also use our Lineup Generator to build 100+ lineups for cash games and tournaments.

Let's get to it...

FanDuel and DraftKings QBs

Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers ($5,800 DK; $7,200 FD) vs. Eagles

Mayfield turns up as the No. 2 $/point option on both FanDuel and DraftKings, but he’s the superior cash-game value on DK. In fact, he’s the second-cheapest QB behind Mason Rudolph.

The Eagles have posted a positive pass defense DVOA – which is a negative – in seven straight weeks. That includes season-worst figures in consecutive games (82.2% and 79.9%).

Mayfield’s coming off a dud at Carolina, but before then, he hit 21 fantasy points in four straight.

Also consider: Dak Prescott (cash or tournament), Matthew Stafford (tournament)

FanDuel RBs

Isiah Pacheco, Chiefs ($6,400) vs. Dolphins

With Jerick McKinnon out, Pacheco projects for a workhorse role. Prior to resting in Week 18, Pacheco hit 15+ touches in six straight.

Plus, you have to like the Miami matchup. The Fins are down a number of key defenders, including Bradley Chubb, Andrew Van Ginkel, Jerome Baker, and Xavien Howard.

Devin Singletary, Texans ($6,300) vs. Browns

On the surface, I don’t love Singletary’s outlook against Cleveland. The Browns sit sixth-best in FD points allowed to RBs.

But price is a clear factor here. FanDuel priced the former Bill like a timeshare back – and he’s simply not. Singletary earned 19 touches in three of the past four weeks. The exception came in a blowout loss to Cleveland, but I expect a closer game this time around.

Also consider: James Cook (tournament), David Montgomery (tournament), Aaron Jones (cash and tournament)

DraftKings RBs

Aaron Jones, Packers ($6,300) at Cowboys

We’ll see about the status of A.J. Dillon (thumb, neck), who missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

But even if he’s active, Jones looks poised for a fantasy-friendly workload. Even with Dillon projected in, our current numbers have Jones at 17 carries; 3.5 targets. Jones also enters the postseason with 17+ touches in four games post-knee injury.

There’s certainly upside on the targets, with Green Bay installed as 7.5-point road underdogs. The potential for a trailing game script helps raise Jones’ PPR upside – huge for DK’s format.

Jahmyr Gibbs, Lions ($6,500) vs. Rams

Sam LaPorta will likely miss this weekend’s game. His absence would remove just over 7 targets per game.

Gibbs stands to benefit, either from boosted targets or an increased rushing role. The Lions posted the fifth-lowest pass rate over expected this year, opting to lean on Gibbs’ and David Montgomery’s legs.

The Rams finished the regular season 21st in rush defense DVOA; 20th vs. the pass. So there’s unlikely to be an extreme approach from OC Ben Johnson in neutral situations. I’d just lean toward Gibbs as more of a tournament pick, as he sits relatively low in our $/point ranks.

Also consider: Kyren Williams (cash and tournament), Rachaad White (cash), De’Von Achane (tournament), Isaiah Pacheco (cash lock and tournament), James Cook (tournament), Jaylen Warren (cash)

FanDuel WRs

Amari Cooper, Browns ($7,500) at Texans

How can you avoid Cooper? He’s the top $/point WR by a good margin, set to face a team he smoked for 11-165-2 in Week 16.

Now, we’ll keep an eye on the status of his heel. But following a two-game absence, he returned to practice on Thursday. He said he’ll be fine for Saturday’s contest, per beat writer Scott Petrak.

Jameson Williams, Lions ($5,200) vs. Rams

It’s the postseason, when targets tend to be condensed and true low-dollar WRs are tough to find.

This year is no different. But if I’m taking a shot on a cheap WR for tournaments, it’s Williams.

Again, Sam LaPorta is likely to miss Sunday’s game. Same for WR Kalif Raymond. While that raises the profile on Amon-Ra St. Brown across formats, Williams should also enter a larger role against Los Angeles.

The Rams aren’t an intimidating unit on paper. They’re 21st in pass defense DVOA – 31st in Pro Football Focus coverage grade – while S Jordan Fuller (ankle) might miss Sunday’s matchup. Also note: Los Angeles faced the second-highest aDOT and the most combined air yards during the regular season.

Also consider: CeeDee Lamb (cash and tournament), Cooper Kupp (tournament), Brandin Cooks (tournament), Demarcus Robinson (cash), Dontayvion Wicks (cash and tournament)

DraftKings WRs

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Lions ($8,000) vs. Rams

St. Brown’s production hit a new level this season (119-1,515-10). He enters the postseason with 22+ DK points in four straight.

St. Brown’s target volume could reach new heights against the Rams, given Detroit’s injury situation (noted above). This game environment looks strong, too. Detroit’s implied for 27.25 points in an over/under of 51.5.

Chris Godwin, Buccaneers ($6,900) vs. Eagles

Godwin’s target share increased late in the year. Since Week 14, it’s nearly 29.6%, leading to top-7 ranks in catches and yards over that stretch.

So he’s trending up entering an attractive matchup with Philly. The Eagles allowed the most catches and PPR points to WRs during the regular season.

Also consider: CeeDee Lamb (cash and tournament), Jameson Williams (tournament), Nico Collins (if Denzel Ward is out), Demarcus Robinson (cash), Puka Nacua (cash and tournament), Cooper Kupp (tournament), Dontayvion Wicks (tournament)

FanDuel TEs

Jake Ferguson, Cowboys ($6,200) vs. Packers

On the year, Dallas ranked top-five in pass-rate over expected. They’re first in situation-neutral pace, too. So it’s no shock Dak Prescott ranked fourth in total attempts.

That volume’s trickled down to Ferguson, who ranks third among TEs in targets since Week 13.

He’s a decent TD bet this week with Dallas implied for a slate-high 29 points.

Also consider: Travis Kelce (tournament), Dallas Goedert (cash or tournament)

DraftKings TEs

Dallas Goedert, Eagles ($4,800) at Buccaneers

Goedert, David Njoku, Travis Kelce, Tucker Kraft, and Jake Ferguson all sit in the same tier in our $/point ranks.

Goedert ranks slightly above the others, although we’ll need to get confirmation on Jalen Hurts’ status. If healthy enough to play, Goedert could see extra targets as a short-range option – especially with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith banged up.

Aided by a Monday night kickoff, we ultimately expect Hurts to play. But if we get a negative update on Hurts’ ability to throw or grip the ball, Ferguson looks enticing at $4.7K.

Also consider: Travis Kelce (tournament), Jake Ferguson (cash and tournament)

FanDuel Defense

Steelers ($3,000) at Bills

Also consider: Texans

DraftKings Defense

Steelers ($2,600) at Bills

Also consider: Packers, Chiefs
