Week 11 FanDuel Tournament Picks

NFL DFS Picks for Tournament and GPP Play

Quarterback

Kyler Murray, Cardinals ($7,600) at Texans

Ownership projection: 8%

Murray’s Week 11 debut proved extremely successful.

No, not in the box score, where you’ll find 249 passing yards and 1 INT. But Murray’s health passed the eye test beyond his 33 rushing yards and 1 score.

Marquise Brown (only $6,600) provides an easily stackable WR. Plus, the neutral Houston matchup could turn up extra passing. Arizona enters the weekend as 5-point underdogs, while the Texans’ up-tempo play (third in situation-neutral pace) helps projected play volume.

Also consider: C.J. Stroud

Running Back

Brian Robinson, Commanders ($7,200) vs. Giants

Ownership projection: 16%

Sunday sets up as a busy day for Robinson – especially if the Commanders are without Antonio Gibson (toe).

The Giants have allowed 131.1 rushing yards per game. They sit 30th in rush defense DVOA.

So raise the yardage and TD upside for Robinson, whose 75% goal line carry share ranks just behind Christian McCaffrey and Kenneth Walker (76%).

Tony Pollard, Cowboys ($6,900) at Panthers

Ownership projection: 16%

Pollard made the cash game article because of his price and matchup. He sticks as a premier tournament play on a projected sub-20% ownership rate.

It’s worth noting the following quote from Mike McCarthy, too.

“I have no problem with Rico [Dowdle] getting more carries,” McCarthy said Thursday via the Dallas Morning News. “That would be great. But also my focus is Tony Pollard as the primary ball carrier.”

We’ll see what the future holds for this backfield. For Week 11, though, I still see Pollard carrying a top-five ceiling.

Also consider: Austin Ekeler, David Montgomery, Aaron Jones, Devin Singletary

Wide Receiver

Cooper Kupp, Rams ($8,200) vs. Seahawks

Ownership projection: 16%

Kupp ranks fifth among WRs in ceiling projection.

Based on how he started the season, it’s clear he can reach even higher. Despite a recent rough patch, I’m optimistic for a rebound after Matthew Stafford expressed confidence in health post-thumb injury.

Coming off a bye week surely helped. And the matchup looks fine, too. Seattle slots 20th in fantasy points allowed to WRs.

Brandon Aiyuk, 49ers ($7,800) vs. Buccaneers

Ownership Projection: 7%

Per Pro Football Focus, the Bucs have allowed the third highest rate of explosive pass plays (20+ yards). That makes the big-play Deebo Samuel ($7,100) intriguing as well.

We’ll see if they get CB Carlton Davis back in the lineup on Sunday. But I’m unconcerned about this matchup regardless of his gameday status.

Aiyuk, of course, fits as an explosive playmaker. Past the midway point, he’s recorded 17.8 yards per catch (on a 14.9-yard aDOT) and 3.11 yards per route run – elite marks.

Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins ($7,100) vs. Raiders

Ownership projection: 18%

Waddle's ceiling hasn't appeared often in 2023. But he has showed some signs of life lately with TDs in three of his past five, a stretch that includes four games with at least 5 catches.

Waddle will continue seeing favorable coverages as long as Tyreek Hill is on the field. And I like that Waddle’s coming off a bye here, which gave him time to rest a previously troublesome back.

Miami’s implied for a slate-high 30 points, a number they’ve already hit five times in 2023.

Also consider: Tyreek Hill, D.K. Metcalf, Terry McLaurin, Calvin Ridley, Christian Watson

Tight End

Dalton Kincaid, Bills ($5,800) vs. Jets

Ownership projection: 15%

It’s tough to find a TE to really rally behind. Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and T.J. Hockenson are all unavailable.

Frankly, there are only a few TEs with a ceiling suitable for tournaments. Kincaid falls in that bucket following games of 7, 11 and 6 targets without Dawson Knox (wrist, IR). Knox, of course, will remain out for Sunday’s matchup with the Jets.

Also consider: Trey McBride

Defense

Dolphins ($4,200) vs. Raiders

Also consider: 49ers
