Week 6 FanDuel Cash-Game Picks

Top Plays for Head-to-Head and 50/50 Contests

Quarterback

Matt Stafford, Rams ($7,300) vs. Cardinals

As usual, I’m heading to the $/point section of the Lineup Generator to look for bargains.

Geno Smith (at Cincinnati) sits No. 1 there, but I’ll prioritize Stafford in a better matchup.

The Rams are implied for a strong 27.75 points. Stafford squares off against a Cardinals squad that lacks a pass rush (28th in pass-rush win rate) and sits bottom-5 in blitz rate.

They remain without S Budda Baker (hamstring) and will also miss S Jalen Thompson (hamstring) this week.

Stafford enters the weekend with 300+ yards in three of five outings.

Also consider: Geno Smith

Running Back

Travis Etienne, Jaguars ($7,700) vs. Colts

Etienne’s banner day against the Bills helps, but this isn’t a reactionary play.

Our top RB value on the slate, Etienne’s value comes from a locked-in workload. He has averaged 23.2 opportunities per game on an 82% carry share.

There’s no reason to forecast his work differently against Indy. The Colts, allowing 120 rushing yards per game, stand as 4-point road underdogs.

As a bonus: Both the Jags and Colts rank top-7 in situation-neutral pace. It's the fastest-paced matchup of Week 6, according to our Matchups That Matter article.

Alvin Kamara, Saints ($7,500) vs. Texans

Since making his debut in Week 4, Kamara has handled 50 of 68 team RB opportunities.

Jamaal Williams remains out with a hamstring. And the matchup with Houston looks just fine. They slot 22nd in rush DVOA; 25th in fantasy points allowed.

Also consider: Raheem Mostert, Bijan Robinson, Chuba Hubbard, D'Onta Foreman

Wide Receiver

Cooper Kupp, Rams ($8,700) vs. Cardinals

I think we’re getting a discounted rate on Kupp, who at his peak cost $1,000+ more.

His Week 5 debut turned up 8-118 on a team-high 12 targets. With Matthew Stafford playing well – and Arizona lacking playmakers on defense – Kupp should continue to roll.

It’s no surprise that he sits No. 1 in our WR $/point ranks.

Michael Pittman, Colts ($6,500) vs. Jaguars

Pittman notched 9 grabs for 77 yards in Gardner Minshew's first start against Baltimore.

Last week, when Minshew took over early, Pittman wound up with a 26.6% target share. On the year, he has reached 11 targets in 3 of 5 games.

You get the picture: Pittman’s volume looks sturdy for the cost. Now he gets a Jags pass D ranking just 24th in fantasy points allowed to WRs.

Chris Godwin, Buccaneers ($6,300) vs. Lions

With Evans sidelined prior to a Week 5 bye, Godwin went off for 8-114 on a 34% target share.

Now, Evans missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning on Friday. He's on track to play vs. the Lions, but it's possible he's not yet back to full strength.

The matchup isn't ideal. But this price tag helps, while Detroit is most vulnerable in the secondary.

Also consider: Jaylen Waddle, Calvin Ridley, Jakobi Meyers, Jordan Addison

Tight End

Evan Engram, Jaguars ($5,500) vs. Colts

TE looks especially ugly this week.

You can spend up for T.J. Hockenson, whose volume projects well with Minnesota missing Justin Jefferson. But given the options outlined above, it’s hard to splurge on TE.

So instead, I’m looking for a discount. That’s Engram at only $5.5K.

Engram has tallied exactly 8 targets in four straight games, a stretch that includes 24 catches. The veteran has yet to find the end zone, but he's in a fine spot with the Jags implied for nearly 25 points.

Also consider: Jonnu Smith

Defense

Patriots ($3,600) at Raiders

Also consider: Falcons
