Bears WR Luther Burden returned to practice on Monday, according to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. The rookie missed time this spring and early in training camp with a hamstring injury.

It’s obviously great news for Burden, who now needs to make up some ground. He initially suffered the hamstring injury back in May, but it appears he’s in full pads for Monday’s practice session. Chicago’s offense is finally starting to take shape, as fellow rookie Colston Loveland continues to ramp up after recovering from shoulder surgery in January.
Burden will have stiff competition for targets during his rookie season, particularly with second-year WR Rome Odunze impressing early in camp. He’s hoping to fill the slot receiver void left behind by Keenan Allen, while providing the Bears with more explosiveness.
Burden is worth a late-round selection in fantasy drafts as we continue to see how this Bears passing game shakes out. His ADP is currently sitting in Round 15 as the 65th WR off the board.
