Rams QB Matt Stafford threw more than 60 passes on Saturday without limitations, HC Sean McVay said. “Looking forward to progressing him back into practice on Monday," McVay added.
Stafford has yet to practice since training camp started due to an aggravated disc in his back. He's clearly heading in a positive direction now, though. Barring a setback, he should be ready in plenty of time for the start of the season.
Stafford is only in play in best-ball and superflex leagues. But his health is key for WRs Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, and even RB Kyren Williams. All three guys are looking like safer picks now than they did a few days ago.
