Lions QB Jared Goff endured a brutal passing performance in Sunday night's loss at Philadelphia. He completed just 37.8% of his throws (14 of 37) for 255 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. It was the worst completion rate of Goff's career. And the other four times he fell short of 50% all came before he left the Rams (as did most of the rest of his "worst" list). Highlights against the Eagles included a mid-range connection with WR Jameson Williams over the middle that turned into a 40-yard TD, and a short-range throw to Jahmyr Gibbs that became a 42-yard gain.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Goff definitely had trouble with Philly's pressure in Week 11.
He took pressure on 38.5% of his dropbacks, the 11th-highest rate among QBs who dropped back at least 10 times. Goff completed just one of his 13 pass attempts when pressured. That 7.7% rate beat only two Week 11 QBs, and both relieved injured starters:
- Shedeur Sanders -- 0 for 7
- Kirk Cousins -- 0 for 3
(That's 0.0% in each case, by the way.)
Goff's rough outing, though, followed 75.8% completions for 320 yards and 3 TDs in the win at Washington. It marked just the fourth time in 10 games that Goff fell short of 2 TD passes.
Perhaps more importantly, Detroit's remaining schedule rates third-best for QB scoring by our adjusted fantasy points allowed. That favorable run starts with a doughy Giants defense in Week 12.
Pressure hasn't proved to be a limiting issue overall this season, so go back to treating Goff as though Sunday night didn't happen in your lineup planning.
