Packers QB Clayton Tune will start Sunday's finale against the Vikings, HC Matt LaFleur announced on Thursday. QB Jordan Love has cleared concussion protocol, but the team will sit him and QB Malik Willis with nothing to gain in this one. Tune's only NFL start came as a rookie with the Cardinals back in 2023. The former fifth-round pick gets a Vikings defense that has allowed just one QB to reach 200 passing yards since Week 9. And Green Bay's top pass catchers probably won't play much, if at all. The Packers are expected to rest starters in next weekend's regular-season finale vs. the Vikings, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Green Bay's loss to the Ravens on Saturday night locked them into the NFC's No. 7 seed. RB Josh Jacobs, who's been battling injuries for most of the season, is the most obvious candidate to sit. That'd leave Emanuel Wilson as the lead back. QB Jordan Love could also sit part or all of the game. We'll look for more details on Green Bay's plans. The matchup against a red-hot Minnesota defense makes all Packers less intriguing in Week 18 fantasy lineups.

It's his second documented concussion, with the first coming at Utah State in 2018. QB Malik Willis will finish out this game and might also start Week 17's game vs. the Ravens. Packers QB Jordan Love threw a season-low 21 passes in Sunday's win over the Vikings. He completed 14 for a season-low 139 yards, no TDs, and no INTs. The game marked the third time in the past four weeks that Love went without a TD pass.

Packers QB Jordan Love will be playing through an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That's Love's non-throwing side. "If it was his right shoulder, he wouldn't be playing," Rapoport adds. This shouldn't impact Love's passing vs. the Vikings today. But it could push the Packers to run more, and there's some risk of re-injury for Love. We lowered his floor projection, moving him down the Week 12 QB rankings.

The forecast for today's Packers-Giants game calls for sustained winds of 20 mph with gusts between 30-40 mph. That's enough to likely impact play-calling, as well as deep throws and longer kicks. We're downgrading both passing games in this one and would avoid both kickers. The over/under in this game has dipped from 43.5 on Thursday to 42.5.
