Mar'Keise Irving Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving was explosive running the ball picking up 68 carries on 16 rushes, including one TD. He made the Cowboys defense miss numerous tackles throughout the game and was utilized in the passing game. He caught all three for his targets for 24 yards as well

Buccaneers TE Cade Otton (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday night’s game vs. the Cowboys. HC Todd Bowles called him a game-time decision on Friday morning, but he’s evidently unlikely to play. The other TEs on Tampa Bay’s roster are Payne Durham, Ko Kieft, and Devin Culp. None is a viable fantasy play. Otton’s absence should push more targets to the WRs and RBs.

Update: The Buccaneers downgraded Otton to out.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (back, hip) is active for today’s game vs. the Chargers. There was optimism about his status throughout the weekend, but it remains unclear how big a workload he’ll handle today. The Bucs might not even know until they see how Irving’s body is holding up once this game gets going. Consider the rookie a risk/reward fantasy start.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (back, hip) is expected to play vs. the Chargers this afternoon, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. That jibes with Jeremy Fowler's Saturday report on Irving. The rookie certainly seems on track to play today, but it's still uncertain how much work he'll be given and/or be able to handle. Irving had huge games in Weeks 12 and 13 but lasted just 10 snaps in Week 14. That's a good illustration of his range of outcomes today. Use the Who To Start Tool to see if Irving makes sense for your fantasy lineup.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler hears that there's "optimism" about RB Bucky Irving's status for Sunday's game vs. the Chargers. "Irving has been feeling better later this week and hopes to play, per a source," Fowler writes. "He reaggravated his hip pointer injury from a week ago but is trending in the right direction." Irving has also been dealing with back tightness and will come with elevated risk in Week 15 fantasy lineups. But he could also deliver nice production if his body cooperates. We'll look for further updates on his status but won't get the Chargers' inactives until a little before 3 pm ET tomorrow.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (back, hip) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Chargers. He got in a limited practice on Friday after missing the previous two days. Irving’s availability will hinge on how that back feels on Sunday. We’ll keep you updated on his status. The rookie will be a risk/reward fantasy start if he ends up playing.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (back, hip) did not practice on Wednesday. HC Todd Bowles said earlier this week that they'd need to see how Irving's back fares over the course of the week before determining his status for Sunday's game vs. the Chargers. Consider him truly questionable for now.

Buccaneers HC Todd Bowles said Monday that RB Bucky Irving's availability for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers is uncertain. "We gotta see how it feels," Bowles said of Irving's back. "If we can get it loosened up, he should be okay. If not, we’ll see how the week goes." We'll track the rookie's status throughout this week, but fantasy owners should be lining up alternate plans in case Irving can't go. His absence would make RB Rachaad White a strong fantasy start.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Raiders with a back injury. He entered this one questionable with back and hip injuries and wasn't playing much before exiting. We'll update Irving's status when we know more.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (hip, back) is active for today’s game vs. the Raiders. He only got in a limited practice on Friday and was listed as questionable, so it’s fair to assume he’ll be operating at less than 100% today. But we haven’t heard anything about his role being limited. Irving still checks in as a top-20 RB play this week.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (hip, back) is expected to play vs. the Raiders tomorrow, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Irving only got in a limited practice on Friday, so there's added risk here. But, unless we get a report on his role being limited against Vegas, he'd be tough to leave out of Week 14 fantasy lineups.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (hip, back) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Raiders. He only got in a limited practice on Friday. We should get an update on Irving by Sunday morning and will have Tampa Bay’s inactives by 11:30 am. If he ends up missing this one, Rachaad White would be a borderline RB1 and Sean Tucker at least a RB3 or Flex option.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (hip, back) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice. He played through these injuries last week but isn't guaranteed to play vs. Las Vegas on Sunday. Irving's absence would leave Tampa's backfield to Rachaad White and Sean Tucker. We'll update Irving's status again by Friday afternoon.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (hip, back) did not practice on Wednesday. He played into overtime last week, so we're not expecting these issues to keep him out for Sunday's game vs. the Raiders. If they did, though, RB Rachaad White would become a must-start, and RB Sean Tucker would become a viable RB3 or Flex. We'll update Irving's status again on Thursday.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving ran the ball 25 times for 152 yards and a TD. He also caught three passes for 33 yards. All of this despite a hip injury at the end of the first half that left him questionable to return. He did return and dominated the Panthers.

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving is questionable to return to Sunday's game vs. the Panthers with a hip injury. His last touch came on a kick return at the end of the first half. We'll update his status when we know more.

Update: Irving returned on Tampa Bay's second possession of the second half.
