Nick Chubb Sprinting, Cutting at Training Camp

Browns RB Nick Chubb (knee) was "running what looks like full speed sprints" in Friday's training camp session, according to The Athletic's Zac Jackson. Chubb later did "agility drills, standard cutting through cones while carrying a ball," per Jackson.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Chubb remains on the PUP list but is clearly making progress in his recovery from last September's severe knee injury. It's particularly encouraging that he's resumed cutting.

Of course, cutting against air and facing live NFL defenders are miles apart. We remain skeptical that Chubb will be cleared to play Week 1 after undergoing the second of two knee surgeries in November. But we'll continue to keep a close eye on his status.

Projected ADP Movement

Chubb's ADP had been trending down since early in the offseason but has started to spike back up with this positive news. He's RB39 in recent best-ball ADP, which is one spot lower than he sits in our RB rankings.
