Jaylen Warren Headshot

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren (hamstring) said Monday that he expects to play Week 1. He did some light work off to the side of Monday's practice -- nine days after hurting his hamstring.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Players are generally optimistic about their returns from injury, so take this with a grain of salt. But Warren's injury was reportedly a Grade 1 strain (least severe), and it's clearly positive news that he's doing some work on the field.

We're now projecting Warren to play Week 1, although with a slightly lesser workload than previously projected. We'll continue to keep a close eye on his status. The Steelers open their season in 13 days.
