Chiefs WR Rashee Rice underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair his LCL, as well as a hamstring tendon, according to insider Jordan Schultz. He'll miss the rest of the 2024 season, but there was no damage to Rice's ACL or meniscus. "A full recovery is expected," Schultz adds. "No long-term concerns. This is the best-case scenario."

As Schultz notes, this is the best-case scenario for Rice's long-term dynasty value. A previous report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport had Rice's timetable for return at 3-4 months. We'll see if we get an updated timeline now that surgery is done, but Rice should be available for most of the 2025 offseason.
