Bills RB James Cook had missed practice through the week so far with a toe injury. He practiced on Saturday and is planning to suit up Monday Night against the Jets.
Adam Schefter of ESPN: "Bills Pro-Bowl RB James Cook will practice today despite his toe injury and plans to play Monday night vs. the Jets, per his agency LAA."
Cook has been an RB1 so far this season, but a toe injury suffered at the end of Week 5 put his Week 6 status in doubt. Despite not practicing throughout the week, Cook was able to come back on Saturday and is good to play on Monday Night Football
He will be listed as Questionable on the injury report, but if pregame warm-ups go well, Cook is expected to be out there.
The Jets defense is one of the best in the league, but Cook has been the Bills main offensive weapon through five games. If Josh Allen and the passing game struggle, especially with top WR Khalil Shakir also questionable for the game, then Cook will be leaned on.
He checks in as a fringe top-12 option this week. Check our rankings for the final designation.
