Eagles WR DeVonta Smith led the team in targets (7), receptions (6), and receiving yards (85) in Sunday's 20-point victory at Cincinnati. The big strike came late in the third quarter, when Smith snagged a 45-yard pass in the end zone. WR A.J. Brown trailed just behind Smith with 5 receptions for 84 yards on 6 targets. TE Grant Calcaterra was the only other Eagle to catch more than one pass (3-58 on 3 targets).
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
This marked the first time in four appearances together this season that Smith beat Brown in targets.
It's a nice rebound vs. just the 6 total targets Smith logged over the previous two games. But Week 1 -- their other shared game -- found the target counts at 10 for Brown and 8 for Smith.
I'd bet on the rest of the season looking more like the Week 1 and Week 8 results than weeks 6 and 7, when Jalen Hurts totaled just 39 pass attempts.
Smith is bound to have down weeks but should also be a regular starter in fantasy lineups. It'll be easy to keep him in vs. Jacksonville and Dallas the next two weeks.
The Eagles get the league's second-best WR schedule the rest of the way, according to our adjusted fantasy points allowed.
