New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (in Germany)

Daniel Jones, Giants

Jones has been a QB1 four times this season, including last week when he threw for two touchdowns and ran for another.  He also has five QB3 weeks, though, so he is boom-or-bust. The Panthers present a great matchup, allowing the most passing points per attempt in the league. View Jones as a viable QB1.

New England Patriots at Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams, Bears

Williams has had a volatile season with two single digit scoring games over the last two weeks. His best games have come against the worst defenses, and the Patriots are near the bottom of the league in passing points given up per attempt. It is an upside spot for Williams, but the downside keeps him as a mid-QB2.

Drake Maye, Patriots

Maye’s legs carried him last week, rushing for 95 yards. (He added one passing TD.) The rookie faces a Bears team that is top five in the league against opposing fantasy QBs, but the rushing floor makes Maye a solid QB2. Note: The Bears might remain without DB Jaquan Brisker.

Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts

Josh Allen, Bills

Allen's reached 24 fantasy points in four straight. Teams have largely opted to attack the Colts on the ground, but note that Buffalo owns the league's third-highest pass rate over expected during Allen's hot streak.

Joe Flacco, Colts

Flacco struggled against a blitz-happy Vikings defense in Week 9. The Bills blitz at the league’s second-lowest rate, but they’ve still done well to limit passing production. Opposing QBs have totaled only 11 passing TDs in nine games. We’ll also see about the health of Michael Pittman, who missed practice Wednesday and Thursday.

Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars

Sam Darnold, Vikings

Darnold gets a Jaguars defense that ranks bottom 3 in passing yards allowed, yards per pass attempt allowed, passing TDs allowed, and adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. The only thing that might slow Darnold down is Jacksonville's Mac Jones-led offense not doing enough to keep the Vikings throwing.

Mac Jones, Jaguars

Mac Jones is in line to make his first start of the season against a Vikings defense that leads the NFL in blitz rate. That figures to be a problem for Jones, who ranked dead last among 43 qualifying QBs in Pro Football Focus passing grade against the blitz last year.

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs

Mahomes turned in a season-best QB5 fantasy finish last week. In fact, it was his first top-12 finish all season. He could get rolling with WR DeAndre Hopkins added to the arsenal. But he gets a difficult Week 10 matchup against Denver's sixth-ranked QB defense. Even last year, the Broncos held Mahomes to 306-1-1 and 240-0-2 passing lines.

Bo Nix, Broncos

Nix crashed last week with a QB23 finish in a plus matchup vs. the Ravens. The task is much tougher this Sunday vs. a Chiefs team sitting seventh in pass defense DVOA and 17th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. Denver's 17-point implied total is third lowest of the week.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Kirk Cousins, Falcons

Despite ranking 31st in run-defense DVOA, the Saints have seen opponents pass at the league’s third highest rate over expected against them. That rate sits second-highest over the past four weeks. The Falcons’ offense ranks low in PROE – especially lately. That lowers the floor for Cousins’ passing volume, especially if Atlanta plays from ahead. (The Falcons are favored by 3.5.) But he tossed 7 TD passes on just 53 pass attempts over the past two games. And New Orleans won’t have lead CB Marshon Lattimore, after trading him to Washington. It’ll help Cousins if WR Drake London’s able to play. He has been limited this week after injuring a hip last Sunday.

Derek Carr, Saints

Tough to put up numbers when all your WRs are hurt. And Carr could only manage 58% completions, 236 yards, and 1 TD in his return last week from an oblique injury. That’s the third time among his past four outings that Carr threw for 1 TD or fewer.

San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Brock Purdy, 49ers

Purdy draws the second-best fantasy matchup on the board with an improved supporting cast. Christian McCaffrey returns, while Deebo Samuel (rib, oblique) and Jauan Jennings (hip) are also on track. Coming off a bye, Purdy is a clear-cut QB1.

Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers

The Bucs will remain without Mike Evans (hamstring), while WRs Jalen McMillan (hamstring) and Sterling Shepard (hamstring/hip) look questionable. They draw a 49ers defense fresh off a bye. Despite a neutral fantasy matchup, Mayfield’s thin supporting cast makes him more of a QB2 option. Note: Mayfield missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a toe, but he’s expected to be fine.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels, Commanders

Daniels has been a QB1 in seven of his eight full games played, and his rushing ability continues giving him that upside. But, he runs into a Steelers team that hasn’t allowed a QB1 week so far this season. The tough matchup knocks Daniels down a bit from where he usually resides.

Russell Wilson, Steelers

Wilson has averaged 271.5 passing yards per game and added a little bit of rushing in both of those games as well. Wilson doesn’t offer much upside, but he has a solid QB2 floor. The Commanders defense is improving, but they still gave up a QB1 performance to Daniel Jones last week.

Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert, Chargers

Following a slow start, Herbert's finished as the QB15, QB9, and QB11 over the past three weeks. He draws a Titans pass D that might remain without top CB L'Jarius Sneed.

New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals

Aaron Rodgers, Jets

With Davante Adams fully implemented into the offense, Rodgers went off last week against the Texans and had a QB1 finish. He is a borderline QB1 with the weapons around him, though the Jets are trying to establish the run still. The Cardinals look improved on defense but have allowed three QB1 weeks this year.

Kyler Murray, Cardinals

Murray has had a rough stretch, but he is a boom or bust QB through and through. In a tough match-up against the Jets, it's hard to bet on Murray blowing up for a top performance. The Jets rank top-12 in pass defense DVOA and PFF coverage grade.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

Jalen Hurts, Eagles

Philly’s extremely low pass rate – lowest in the league vs. expectation by a wide margin over the past four weeks – would be a problem for most QBs’ fantasy outlooks. But Hurts has run for 6 TDs over just the past three games and accounted for 2+ total TDs in seven of eight contests this season. DeVonta Smith (hamstring) looks like a health question this week. But A.J. Brown (shoulder) returned to full practice Thursday. And Dallas Goedert appears ready to return from a three-game hamstring injury.

Detroit Lions at Houston Texans

Jared Goff, Lions

Goff’s unreal TD efficiency had been masking the risk of his extremely low passing volume before last week. He posted a season-low fantasy score at Gree Bay, though, despite completing 82% of his passes. Even with a league-leading completion rate for the season and the No. 2 mark in yards per pass attempt, Goff ranks just 14th in passing yards per game. Perhaps a Houston defense that ranks fourth in rush DVOA can force some balance shift this week. But the Lions are still 3.5-point favorites on the road. And the Texans’ offense continues to be hurting at WR. (We’ll see about Nico Collins.) Goff’s a risky bet for volume, which hurts his fantasy floor

C.J. Stroud, Texans

If Nico Collins (hamstring) makes it back for this game, Stroud looks like a low-end fantasy starter. Detroit’s defense has improved all around and now ranks third in DVOA against the pass (better than it is against the run). But the combo of a tough run defense and high-scoring offense has motivated Lions opponents to pass at the league’s second highest rate over expectation this season. Stroud posted his two worst passing outings of the season among the past three games. But he sandwiched a nice 285-yard outing between them – even without Collins. All that said, you should try to avoid using Stroud if Collins remains out.

Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford, Rams

Stafford finished as the QB4 in his only full game with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua (Week 8). Miami turns up the second-toughest matchup for fantasy production. Still, it's worth noting the Rams are implied for a healthy 25.5 points -- tied for fifth-highest on the slate. Treat the veteran as a viable QB1.

Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins

Tua's finished as the QB26 and QB19 in two games back from injury. Now he draws a Rams pass D allowing a big 8.5 YPA for the season. We’ll see if Miami’s shaky O-line can hold up, though. The Rams lead the league with a 42.8% pressure rate.
