New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (in Germany)
Tyrone Tracy Jr., Giants
Tracy pulled into the starting RB position with 17 touches to Devin Singletary’s seven. He is averaging 20 touches per game over his last four complete games. The Panthers allow the most yards and touches in the league to RBs, so this is a smash spot for Tracy. RB2 with upside.
Chuba Hubbard, Panthers
Hubbard has two straight games with 70+ rushing yards and even scored two touchdowns last week. Jonathon Brooks will be coming back this week, but Hubbard is expected to continue as the lead back after signing a new contract extension. He is a solid RB2, with the Giants being 31st in the league at yards per carry given up to RBs.
Devin Singletary, Giants
Singletary has taken a backseat to Tyrone Tracy both in terms of touches as well as routes run. But, the match-up is so good, Singletary can be a consideration as an RB3. The Panthers allow the most yards and touches in the league to RBs.
Jonathon Brooks, Panthers
Brooks will play in the NFL for the first time, but he will likely be limited as the backup to Chuba Hubbard. Starting Brooks is risky, as he may only get a handful of touches. But it will be interesting to see how they utilize him.
New England Patriots at Chicago Bears
D’Andre Swift, Bears
Swift was held without a TD last week, the first time since Week 3. He had 22 touches though and continues to dominate the Bears backfield. The Patriots are allowing the second most rushing fantasy points per game, so if the Bears get up early, it could be a big Swift game. He is a high end RB2.
Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots
Stevenson had an awful game on the ground last week with 10 rushes for 16 yards, but he ran for a TD and caught the gametying TD. Being so TD dependent doesn’t bode well, but the run is the way to beat the Bears. They are in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points given up to RBs. Stevenson is a low end RB2 with upside.
Roschon Johnson, Bears
Johnson has gotten a few looks here and there, but the RB touches are dominated by D’Andre Swift. If the Bears get up early, Johnson may get some RB touches and there is hope for a TD. He is an RB4 this week.
Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts
Jonathan Taylor, Colts
JT draws a Bills run D allowing 4.6 yards per carry. He has finished RB12 and RB32 since returning from an ankle injury, and his workload supplies another top-10 outlook.
James Cook, Bills
Cook has finished as the PPR RB26, RB1, RB8, and RB40 over the past four games. Despite the volatility, Cook easily projects for 15+ touches against a beatable Colts run D. Keep him locked into lineups.
Ray Davis, Bills
Davis delivered a long TD against Miami in Week 9. Still, he’s not a bankable fantasy play, even in a plus matchup. The rookie has hit 10 touches only once alongside a healthy James Cook – and that came in a Week 2 blowout.
Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars
Aaron Jones, Vikings
Jones continues to dominate work in Minnesota's backfield, averaging 18.0 carries and 3.0 targets per game over his last three. He's in an excellent spot this weekend with the Vikings nine-point favorites with a 25.5-point implied total against the Jaguars' 31st-ranked RB defense.
Tank Bigsby, Jaguars
The Jaguars used three RBs last week, although Bigsby led in snap rate, route rate, and carries. He's in a brutal spot this weekend with his Mac Jones-led Jaguars 9-point underdogs against the Vikings' fourth-ranked RB defense. Consider Bigsby a shaky RB3.
Travis Etienne, Jaguars
Etienne was part of a three-man committee backfield last week. He led the group with three targets but actually ran fewer pass routes than RB Tank Bigsby and carried just three times. The Jaguars are 9-point underdogs vs. the Vikings this weekend, so perhaps game flow gets Etienne on the field more. But he's a low-floor fantasy play without exciting upside.
Cam Akers, Vikings
Akers appears to have taken over as Minnesota's No. 2 RB, out-touching Ty Chandler 8 to 0 last week. That, of course, isn't enough to make him a good Week 10 fantasy play -- even in the plus matchup against Jacksonville's 31st-ranked RB defense.
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs
Kareem Hunt, Chiefs
Hunt is averaging just 3.6 yards per carry over the last four weeks. But that hardly matters when he's averaging 24.3 carries and 1.3 TDs per game. Expect another inefficient but voluminous outing for Hunt on Sunday with his Chiefs 8-point home favorites against the Broncos.
Javonte Williams, Broncos
Williams gets a brutal matchup against the Chiefs' top-ranked RB defense. Kansas City has limited opposing backs to 3.1 yards per carry and allowed 119 fewer RB rushing yards than any other team. Williams will need to produce in the passing game if he's going to deliver a solid fantasy outing.
Jaleel McLaughlin, Broncos
McLaughlin hasn't reached 10 opportunities (carries + targets) in a game since Week 5. The Broncos have talked about getting RB Audric Estime more involved, which would likely come at least partly at McLaughlin's expense. He should not be in fantasy lineups vs. the Chiefs' top-ranked RB defense.
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
Bijan Robinson, Falcons
Robinson has hit 20+ touches four times this season. Three of those came over the past three weeks. Expect plenty more opportunities against a Saints D that ranks just 31st in rush DVOA.
Alvin Kamara, Saints
Kamara’s 35 touches last week set a career high. Frankly, they’re gonna need him to keep doing more of that.
Tyler Allgeier, Falcons
Allgeier’s fluctuating touch counts find a good spot for upside this week. New Orleans arrives as the No. 31 defense in rush DVOA and a 3.5-point underdog – despite playing at home. That certainly doesn’t make Allgeier a lock for double-digit touches. He has reached 10 in just four of nine games this year. Allgeier also finished each of the past two games with 3.0 yards per carry or less. But he delivered a season-high 8.0 yards per touch on 10 touches in the first meeting with the Saints – who were in much better shape overall at that point (Week 4).
San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Christian McCaffrey, 49ers
Speaking this week, HC Kyle Shanahan wouldn’t commit to CMC playing his usual role vs. Tampa Bay. “It definitely could [be a normal workload], but it also definitely might not,” Shanahan said. We’re expecting close to a normal workload. Regardless, McCaffrey’s an easy RB1.
Jordan Mason, 49ers
Coming out of a bye, Mason remains on the injury report with a shoulder. With Christian McCaffrey returning, Mason’s workload will be capped vs. Tampa Bay.
Bucky Irving, Buccaneers
Irving has hit 10 touches in each game this season. He's garnered 13 targets over his past three outings. Still, stuck in a timeshare, Irving’s best viewed as a FLEX option vs. the 49ers.
Rachaad White, Buccaneers
White and Bucky Irving project similarly. Last week against Kansas City, Irving led the way in carries (44% vs. 19%) but lagged in routes (31% vs. 47%). The 49ers sit just 19th in rush defense DVOA; 26th in PFF's rush defense grades.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders
Najee Harris, Steelers
Harris has topped 100 yards rushing in each of the last three games and scored in two of them. He appears to be running with new life and explosiveness. The Steelers are still a run-first team, and Harris gets the volume over Jaylen Warren right now. He is a solid RB2, especially if the Steelers play from ahead for a portion of the game.
Austin Ekeler, Commanders
Ekeler had a solid week last week with Brian Robinson out with 14 touches for 83 yards and a TD. With the Steelers being a top 10 run defense, Ekeler’s pass catching work gives him a solid floor. He is an RB3 with upside, especially after Washington ruled Robinson out Friday.
Jaylen Warren, Steelers
Warren is starting to get more usage in the last two games averaging 12.5 touches per game. He isn’t getting goal line work, but some potential passing work makes Warren an RB3 with upside.
Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers
J.K. Dobbins, Chargers
Dobbins enters the weekend with 16+ touches in seven straight. Per Next Gen Stats, the Titans have rolled out a stacked box at the fourth-lowest rate in the league. Note: Gus Edwards has a chance to return vs. Tennessee, but even if active he’s unlikely to meaningfully impact Dobbins’ Week 10 role.
Tony Pollard, Titans
Pollard missed practice all week leading up to last Sunday. He proceeded to see a massive 31 touches against New England. We’ll see about his status for Sunday, but the bigger issue might be the matchup with L.A. The Chargers have allowed only two total RB scores all season.
Tyjae Spears, Titans
Spears was a limited practice participant on Wednesday – and then participated fully on Thursday. We expect him to return against the Chargers, but it’s hard to feel confident in his role. Tony Pollard has played well recently, despite a foot injury. And Spears – even when healthy – has topped six carries only once this season.
New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals
Breece Hall, Jets
Hall hasn’t scored a TD in five of his last six games,, but he is back to getting 80+% of RB touches. He is getting the carries, but only has one 100-yard rushing game this year. The Cardinals could be a get right game for Hall as they are in the bottom half of the league in rushing and receiving points to RBs. Start him as an RB1 with confidence.
James Conner, Cardinals
Conner rumbled for 119 yards against the Bears, but the Cardinals are working Trey Benson and Emari Demercado are getting some more work, and both had TDs last week. Conner is a consistent RB2, and though the Jets are a stout run defense, they have been thrashed a bit lately by the likes of Najee Harris and Joe Mixon.
Braelon Allen, Jets
Allen has taken a step back in workload as Breece Hall has gotten 80+% of the RB touches the last two weeks. Allen has TD upside as a desperation play, but not more than that this week. RB4.
Trey Benson, Cardinals
Benson saw more work last week and had a long TD run. He could get more play to help spell James Conner, but Emari Demercado is also getting some work. The hope if starting Benson is a long TD run somewhere and that is doubtful. RB4 this week.
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys
Saquon Barkley, Eagles
Would Barkley still rank top 5 among fantasy RBs if he were only allowed to run backward?
Rico Dowdle, Cowboys
Dowdle set season highs last week in snap rate (73%) and route rate (61%), and saw his second-largest carry share (57%). He has garnered 6 targets each of the past two weeks. Dalvin Cook remains a limited, old player. And Ezekiel Elliott would apparently just rather not be on the team. That should mean good touch volume for Dowdle in an offense now down to backup QB Cooper Rush. That volume’s worth chasing if you need a RB in this range. But Dowdle also remains a limited talent in an offense that has already fared poorly this season even with Dak Prescott. The receiving role should prove especially important against Philly, which plays the run solidly and arrives as a 7.5-point favorite.
Kenneth Gainwell, Eagles
Gainwell has seen increased touch counts each of the past three weeks – even with last week’s win over the Jaguars winding up tighter than it appeared it would. That has meant just 6 opportunities (carries plus targets) each of the past two weeks. But there’s potential for a bit more if Philly runs away from a Dak-less Cowboys team this week.
Detroit Lions at Houston Texans
Joe Mixon, Texans
Mixon left Week 2 early with an ankle injury. That’s the only time among his six appearances this season in which Mixon has failed to reach 100 rushing yards and score a TD.
Jahmyr Gibbs, Lions
Houston’s an underdog at home for this game but does bring a tough defense. The Texans rank second in total DVOA and rate better against the run than the pass (though top-6 at both). That setup might favor Gibbs’ style over David Montgomery. Gibbs trailed Montgomery in carries last week for the first time since Week 3.
David Montgomery, Lions
The Texans sport the No. 4 run defense in DVOA. They’re second-toughest in the league on RB scoring, according to our adjusted fantasy points allowed. That all threatens Montgomery more than Gibbs, with his more run-heavy and TD-reliant role. Montgomery remains inside RB2 territory, though, on the strength of his offense and the run-heavy approach.
Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams
Kyren Williams, Rams
Williams' seven-game scoring streak ended last week in Seattle. He gets an opportunity to rebound against a Fins defense allowing 1.5 RB scores per game. Williams continues to play well ahead of Blake Corum, too. In fact, the veteran played 99% of the Rams’ Week 9 snaps and saw a 92% carry share.
De’Von Achane, Dolphins
Here are Achane’s PPR totals in games with at least some Tua Tagovailoa: 23, 29.5, 26.7, 32.1. Against a strong Rams pass rush, Achane should remain active in the passing game. He’s hit 8 targets in back to back outings.
Raheem Mostert, Dolphins
Mostert posted a 33% carry share and just a 13% route rate in Week 9. De'Von Achane remains the clear lead back here, while the Fins have also worked in Jaylen Wright. That leaves Mostert as a TD-dependent FLEX.
