Puka Nacua Headshot

In what was the lowest-scoring game for a Matthew Stafford-led Rams’ offense, Puka Nacua still produced 12.4 PPR. He finished opening week in Australia catching five of 9 targets for 74 yards, that included a 41 yard reception at the end of the first quarter. Nacua’s 74 receiving yards led all WRs in yesterday’s game.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Path to Another WR1 Finish

Stafford threw the ball just 25 times in what ended up being an incredibly low volume Rams offense. It’s lower than his total from any week last season.

Although little around Nacua set him up for success, he showed why his profile carries such a high floor. His 36% target share and 2.96 yards per team pass attempt are nearly identical to what he did across all of last season.

That makes it plenty reasonable to believe that we may have just seen Nacua’s lowest-scoring performance of the season.

That level of volume and efficiency, even when the surrounding offense isn’t helping, points toward another overall WR1 finish for Nacua, assuming Australia Stafford is an anomaly.
