Alvin Kamara Headshot

Kamara posts his highest scoring week since 2024 in the Saints blowout loss to the Falcons on Monday Night Football. He handled a team-high 7 rush attempts for 23 yards and 2 TDs while catching five of 7 targets for another 35 yards. The 10th-year RB accumulated 22.8 PPR points leading to an RB1 finish in Week 4.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Volume Up, Efficiency Down

With fellow RB Travis Etienne placed on IR prior to the week, Kamara was set for a higher-usage role. At this point in his career, though, he needs TDs even with a higher-volume workload.

Across three games this season, Kamara has yet to achieve 4.2 yards per carry, which is the league average. That includes his latest performance where he rushed for just 3.3 yards per carry, ranking 34th among all RBs with at least 5 rush attempts in Week 4.

RB Kendre Miller was even less efficient than Kamara, managing just 9 yards on 6 rush attempts.

Rookie RB CJ Donaldson got some work after the game was out of reach. He turned 3 carries into 18 yards and caught both of his targets for 5 more yards on the Saints' final drive.

With Etienne out until at least Week 9, Kamara will continue handling usage, even if it comes on poor efficiency.
