Keenan Allen Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Rams. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so Allen seems likely to return for this one. He led Chicago with 11 targets in the opener (although he caught just four for 29 yards).

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. "He's tracking to return this week if all goes well," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) has been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Colts. It's a downgrade from last week, when Allen was questionable on the final injury report before winding up inactive. We'll see if he can make it back for Week 4. His absence this weekend adds target upside to WRs D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze. We also saw TE Cole Kmet's routes and targets climb with Allen out last week.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) did not practice on Thursday. That's five straight missed practices for the 32-year-old. He seems unlikely to play against the Colts this weekend, but we'll get another update on Allen's status tomorrow afternoon.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. He missed all three practices last week before winding up inactive for the Texans game. Allen's status for Sunday's game vs. the Colts is up in the air. We'll see if he gets back on the field tomorrow.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Texans. HC Matt Eberflus downplayed this heel injury on Wednesday, but it sounds like Allen didn’t progress throughout the week. We’ll see if he can make it back for Week 3’s meeting vs. the Colts.

Fox Sports' Jay Glazer labeled WR Keenan Allen (heel) as "doubtful" to play vs. the Texans tonight. It's been trending in this direction after Allen missed practice all week. Get him out of Week 2 fantasy lineups. WR Rome Odunze (knee) is seemingly on track to play tonight.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) "could be used more sparingly than usual" vs. the Texans tonight. That's assuming Allen plays at all. He's a game-time decision and will test that heel injury pre-game, per Schefter. We won't get Chicago's inactives until a little before 7 pm ET, and Allen would be a shaky fantasy play even if he suits up. He should be on Week 2 benches.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game vs. the Texans. HC Matt Eberflus downplayed Allen's injury on Wednesday, but Allen wound up missing all three practices. We'll look for further updates on Allen's Week 2 status. The late kickoff could make it a tricky situation for fantasy owners.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) missed his second straight practice on Thursday. HC Matt Eberflus downplayed the issue on Wednesday, calling Allen's absence then more of a rest day. But his status will be worth checking on again when we get Chicago's final injury report on Friday afternoon. The Bears, of course, will likely be without WR Rome Odunze (knee) for Sunday night's game vs. the Texans.

Bears WR Rome Odunze sustained an MCL sprain in Sunday's win over the Titans. He's now week-to-week, according to multiple reports.

Bears QB Caleb Williams didn't get to 100 passing yards in his debut against the Titans on Sunday. He completed just 14 of 29 attempts (48%) for 93 yards (3.2 YPA), 0 TDs, and 0 INTs. Williams flashed his mobility and arm strength on a few occasions. And WR Keenan Allen dropped a would-be six-yard TD. But Williams missed multiple downfield throws and had a few passes batted down at the line of scrimmage.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) is active for today’s game vs. the Titans. He was a full-go in practice on Friday, when HC Matt Eberflus said Allen looked great. We’re not expecting the heel to be an issue today.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) is expected to play vs. the Titans today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Allen is officially listed as questionable, but HC Matt Eberflus said Friday that Allen "looks great" (and allegedly wasn't even aware he was on the injury report). The heel shouldn't be an issue in today's season opener.

Bears WR Keenan Allen (heel) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Titans. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so we’re fully expecting Allen to play. He sits in low WR3 range in the Week 1 WR Rankings.
