The Rams "have no plans" to place WR Cooper Kupp (ankle) on IR, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. OL Jonah Jackson and S John Johnson landed on IR today, but Kupp did not.
HC Sean McVay said earlier this week that Kupp would miss “an extended period of time” and potentially land on IR. It's obviously good news that he avoided the trip to IR, which means the team believes he could miss fewer than four games. But fantasy owners should still plan on a multi-game absence.
The Rams have a Week 6 bye, so Week 7 might be Kupp's most likely return date.
