The national media might want to focus on how the Eagles "just keep winning." But their continued offensive struggles definitely matter for plotting out our fantasy lineups at least. QB Jalen Hurts endured a tough Week 10 outing against the Packers, coming off the team's bye. He completed just 15 of 26 passes for 183 yards and a TD. Hurts amassed 42% of that yardage on just two plays: the 36-yard, fourth-quarter TD toss to WR DeVonta Smith and a 41-yard catch-and-run by RB Saquon Barkley (also in the fourth quarter). The TD marked a nice connection between QB and stud WR. The Barkley play was a swing pass that found a lot of open field and got a boost from Barkley's stellar spin move on the first attempted tackler. Hurts added 27 yards on five rushes. Just two of those came on designed runs, despite the Eagles displaying an intentional run lean coming out of the bye.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Hurts notably didn't take a single hit in the pocket against a talented Green Bay pass rush. It marked the first time all season that the Packers went without a sack, after they averaged 2.75 per game across their first eight contests.
Yet Hurts also posted the third-lowest passing-yardage total of the year vs. the Packers D. And he got just two designed runs among 31 called running plays. That trailed Will Shipley and Tank Bigsby.
Philly's run plans included 12 plays of inserting an extra O-lineman. Each of those snaps produced a Saquon Barkley carry (including one negated by offsetting penalties).
That aspect's not a significant worry for Hurts' fantasy outlook the rest of the way. But it's discouraging that Eagles coaches had the bye week to work on their offensive woes and apparently didn't figure out a way to leverage one of the league's best running QBs in the run-leaning plan against the Packers -- at least beyond the one designed carry that Hurts took for 10 yards (and then lost a fumble).
Ultimately, you shouldn't worry too much about this particular outing in weighing Hurts' fantasy value the rest of the way. He has stayed a highly productive fantasy QB amid surprising offensive struggles all season, and the schedule gets a lot easier on the other side of a Week 11 matchup with the Lions (which could go either way in terms of toughness).
But this year's Eagles don't appear capable of fully leveraging Hurts' scoring upside. For whatever reason.
Dynasty Impact
This might be a moment in which to see if the Hurts manager in your league is frustrated and worried about the QB's future.
