Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
Both RB Kenneth Walker (ankle) and RB DeeJay Dallas (ankle) are "likely to play" in Week 16 according to Seahawks HC Pete Carroll on Thursday. Dallas falls out of fantasy consideration with the news that his rookie teammate also seems good to go vs. the Chiefs. Walker has been dealing with this ankle issue for a few weeks now but is still considered a high-end RB2 candidate in what is a generally neutral matchup for fantasy purposes.
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker (ankle) did not practice again on Wednesday. Teammate DeeJay Dallas (ankle) is moving in a positive direction and logged a limited practice ahead of Week 16. A final injury status for both Walker and Dallas will come on tomorrow's report. We'll know more about who is healthy enough to play against the Chiefs on Saturday soon.
Seahawks RB Ken Walker (ankle) did not practice on Tuesday. HC Pete Carroll said that Walker was “a little sore coming out” of Thursday night's loss to the 49ers. “We will see how this week goes,” Carroll added. “We have to give him every day to get back." We'll get another update on Walker tomorrow. RB DeeJay Dallas (ankle) was also sidelined on Tuesday.
Seahawks RBs DeeJay Dallas and Tony Jones are inactive for tonight's game vs. the 49ers. RBs Ken Walker, Travis Homer and Godwin Igwebuike are dressed for Seattle. We're expecting Walker to see his usual workload tonight.
Seahawks RB Ken Walker (ankle) is not listed on the final injury report for Thursday night's game vs. the 49ers. He was a full-go in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. It all suggests that Walker should be ready for at least something close to his normal workload -- but the matchup against San Francisco's 3rd-ranked RB defense leaves Walker as a lower-end RB2 this week. RB DeeJay Dallas (ankle) is listed as questionable but is obviously off the fantasy radar with Walker back.
Seahawks RBs Ken Walker (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) are inactive for today’s game vs. the Panthers. That leaves Seattle with RBs Travis Homer, Tony Jones and Godwin Igwebuike. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said this morning that Jones is expected to get the start.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Seahawks RB DeeJay Dallas (ankle) is viewed as a "long shot" to play Sunday against the Panthers. He adds that RB Kenneth Walker III (ankle) is still "considered 50/50." We'll watch the status of both players Sunday, but plan as though Walker won't be available for your fantasy football lineups. Even if he turns up active, Walker is bound to carry escalated risk.
Seahawks RBs Ken Walker (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers. Neither guy practiced all week, but HC Pete Carroll labeled them game-time decisions. RB Travis Homer (knee) isn’t listed on the final injury report and will be available on Sunday. RB Tony Jones is also on the active roster, while RBs Darwin Thompson, Wayne Gallman and Godwin Igwebuike are on the practice squad. We’ll see if Seattle elevates any of those guys on Saturday.
Seahawks RBs Ken Walker (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday. RB Travis Homer (knee) was upgraded to full participation. Fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on Walker to play vs. the Panthers this weekend. We'll see how the rest of the backfield shakes out.
Seahawks RBs Ken Walker (ankle) and DeeJay Dallas (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. RB Travis Homer (knee) was limited. So Homer is out to the early lead in the race to be Seattle's Week 14 lead back. He's worth adding in most fantasy leagues while we continue to monitor this backfield over the next few days. The Seahawks also have RB Tony Jones on the active roster and RBs Wayne Gallman and Darwin Thompson on the practice squad
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker is dealing with a strain on the inside of his foot, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The injury is not believed to be serious, and the team reportedly doesn't even consider him out for Week 14 at this point. We'll see how the week progresses for the rookie back. If Walker does miss the game, Seattle would replace him with some combo of DeeJay Dallas, Travis Homer (who was inactive Sunday) and Tony Jones Jr.
Seahawks RB DeeJay Dallas is doubtful to return to Sunday's game vs. the Rams with an ankle injury. With RB Kenneth Walker out with his own ankle injury, Seattle is down to RB Tony Jones.
Update: Dallas surprisingly returned in the 2nd half.
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III suffered an ankle injury in the 1st half against the Rams. He's questionable to return. We'll watch for updates on his status.
Update: Walker has been ruled out.
Seahawks RB Travis Homer (illness, knee) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Rams. Homer has played a sparse pass-catching role for Seattle this season, catching 10 of 11 targets in 7 appearances. RB DeeJay Dallas could pick up that work tomorrow -- or it could go to RB Ken Walker.
Seahawks rookie RB Kenneth Walker III rushed 26 times for 109 yards and 2 TDs in Sunday's win at Arizona. He added 3 catches for 20 yards on 4 targets. It was Walker's 5th straight game with at least 1 TD and 2nd 2-TD line in the past 3 games. Walker has delivered 7 rushing scores over the past 5 games. Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas each claimed just 1 carry Sunday, with Homer adding 3 catches (25 yards) on 3 targets. Seattle heads to Germany next Sunday morning to face the Buccaneers.
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker Jr. posted a pedestrian 51 yards on 18 carries in Sunday's win over the Giants. He saved his fantasy day with an impressive cutback run for a 16-yard TD in the 4th quarter and continued to dominated backfield work. RB Travis Homer ran just 10 pass routes to Walker's 23 in his return from IR, according to Pro Football Focus numbers. RB DeeJay Dallas got on the field for just 5 snaps. Walker has now tallied 18+ carries and 20+ opportunities in 3 straight games.
Seahawks RB Travis Homer (ribs) has been designated to return from IR. He'll practice on Wednesday and is eligible to play vs. the Giants this weekend if he's ready. Homer was operating in a pass-catching role before going down and figures to swipe that job back from RB DeeJay Dallas. We'll see how much he eats into RB Ken Walker's pass-catching work. The rookie ran a route on a season-high 62% of pass plays last week.
Seahawks rookie RB Kenneth Walker racked up 168 yards and 2 TDs on 23 carries in Sunday's win over the Chargers. The biggest strike came on a 74-yard TD run with just less than 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter. He also scored from 12 yards out in the 1st quarter. Walker didn't see a target in the game, but his 19 routes tied for 3rd among Seahawks, according to Pro Football Focus. RB DeeJay Dallas caught both of his targets but ran 10 fewer routes than Walker. He added 35 yards on 6 carries.
