Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
49ers QB Brock Purdy (toe) and WRs Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) have all been ruled out for Thursday night's game against the Rams. It doesn't sound like any of their injuries are serious, but the short week did them no favors. We'll see if they can make it back for Week 6. QB Mac Jones makes another start vs. the Rams this week. He played well in Week 2 and 3 starts, completing 66% of his passes at 7.0 yards per attempt with 4 TDs vs. 1 INT. He'll be working with a rag tag group of pass catchers on Thursday night, though. The WR corps figures to be led by Kendrick Bourne, Demarcus Robinson, and Skyy Moore, while Jake Tonges again leads the TE room. We'd try not to mess with any of these guys in Week 5 fantasy lineups. RB Christian McCaffrey will be very busy yet again.
49ers WRs Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) are active for today’s game vs. the Jaguars. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported this morning that Jennings is “likely” to be limited, so we’d try to leave him on fantasy benches. Pearsall carries elevated risk with the knee issue but still checks in as a top-24 WR in the Week 4 rankings. WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is a healthy scratch with WR Demarcus Robinson making his 2025 debut.
Former Kansas City WR Skyy Moore has been traded to the San Francisco 49ers, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
49ers’ WR Demarcus Robinson has been suspended three games for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The 49ers have agreed to a two-year deal with WR Demarcus Robinson. It'll pay $9.5 million total, with $6 million of that guaranteed. Robinson spent the past two years with the Rams, averaging 1.7 receptions and 26.5 yards per game.
The Rams have agreed to a one-year deal with WR Tutu Atwell, paying him a guaranteed $10 million to keep the wideout from reaching free agency. Atwell has spent four seasons with the Rams since arriving as a second-round pick in 2021. According to Spotrac, the new contract ranks Atwell 27th among WRs in annual average as of this writing.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (shoulder) is active for tonight's game vs. the 49ers. The shoulder injury that had him listed as questionable coming in adds more risk to a guy who was already a shaky fantasy bet.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game vs. the 49ers. He only got in a limited practice on Wednesday. HC Sean McVay said earlier this week that he expected Robinson to be ready for this one, but we'll see when we get the Rams' inactives a little before 7 pm ET tomorrow. WR Tutu Atwell would likely soak up most of Robinson's snaps if he can't go.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (hand) is not listed on the final Week 14 injury report. He should be available for his usual role on Sunday but isn’t a recommended fantasy play against the Bills’ ninth-ranked WR defense.
Rams HC Sean McVay said Monday that he expects WR Demarcus Robinson to be available for this weekend's game vs. the Bills. Robinson was knocked out of the Week 13 win over the Saints with a hand injury, but it doesn't sound like it's serious. We'll keep you posted on Robinson's status throughout this week.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson suffered a hand injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game vs. the Saints and did not return. We should get an update on his status on Monday.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson was charged with DUI after being pulled over in Los Angeles early Monday morning, according to TMZ. Robinson was allegedly driving "in excess of 100 mph" and showed signs of impairment. There's a good chance this earns Robinson a suspension, although it might not come this season. We'll keep you updated on the situation.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson caught one of the two TD passes Matthew Stafford threw in Sunday night's loss to the Eagles. But that came among just 2 receptions for 15 yards. Robinson's TD also arrived on the first play after CB Isaiah Rodgers entered the game for the Eagles, signaling the Rams were targeting the new guy.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (toe, hip) put in a full practice on Saturday and is not listed on the final injury report for Monday night's game vs. the Dolphins. He'll be ready for his usual duties as the Rams' No. 3 WR in that one.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (toe, hip) returned to a limited practice on Friday after sitting out Thursday. He should be fine for Monday night’s game vs. the Dolphins, but we’ll see how he’s listed on the final injury report on Saturday afternoon.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson (toe, hip) did not practice on Thursday. He made the game-winning 39-yard TD grab in Week 9's overtime win over the Seahawks, so he was evidently playing through these injuries. We're still tentatively expecting Robinson to play vs. the Dolphins on Monday night, but we'll keep an eye on him over the next few days.
Rams WR Demarcus Robinson caught two TDs against the Seahawks including the game-winning catch in Overtime. He caught six of nine targets for 94 yards and both receiving scores for the Rams.
Rams WR Jordan Whittington (shoulder) is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Vikings. It sure would have been nice of the Rams to have ruled him out last week. Instead, Whittington was active but ran 0 pass routes. His absence leaves Tutu Atwell, Demarcus Robinson, and Tyler Johnson behind Cooper Kupp against Minnesota.
