Gabriel Davis Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice -- his 1st full practice since suffering that ankle injury on September 17. Davis has played a full allotment of snaps the past 2 games but clearly hasn't been at 100%. It looks like he'll be in much better shape for this weekend's game vs. the Steelers.

Bills WR Gabe Davis (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Ravens. He played 96% of Buffalo’s offensive snaps last week but reportedly tweaked that ankle again in practice this week. Consider Davis a risk/reward WR3 in Week 4 fantasy lineups.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) is expected to play vs. the Ravens today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Davis played through this ankle issue last week but tweaked it again in practice this week. He ended up getting in just 2 limited practices and is listed as questionable. Consider Davis a risk/reward WR3 in Week 4 fantasy lineups.

Bills WR Gabe Davis (ankle) is questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Ravens. He was limited Wednesday, sidelined on Thursday and limited again Friday. Bills HC Sean McDermott said Friday morning that Davis aggravated his previous ankle injury but is "on schedule to go." We'll get Buffalo's inactives at 11:30 am ET Sunday.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) did not practice on Thursday. That follows a limited practice on Wednesday. Friday's final injury report will shed more light on Davis' status for this weekend's game vs. the Ravens, but it's clear that he's still not at 100%.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) is active for today’s game vs. the Dolphins. He was limited in practice all week and probably won’t be operating at 100%, adding risk to his fantasy profile. But there’s still plenty of big-play and TD upside here.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) is still expected to play vs. the Dolphins today, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. That's seemingly been the expectation all along. Davis remained limited in practice all week, though, so it's safe to assume that he won't be at 100% today.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. He was limited in practice all week. Davis said Thursday that he's "100%" playing this weekend, but you'll need to check back around 11:30 am ET on Sunday to make sure he's active.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) was limited again in Thursday's practice. He told the media afterward that he's "100%" playing vs. the Dolphins this weekend, but we'll see how he's listed on the final injury report tomorrow afternoon.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. He missed Monday night's game vs. the Titans after hurting his ankle in practice on Saturday, but it looks like he has a chance to return for this weekend's divisional clash with Miami. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) is officially inactive for tonight's game vs. the Titans. Rookie WR Khalil Shakir is active and figures to pick up some of Davis' work. He's an intriguing DFS flier.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis (ankle) is not expected to play vs. the Titans tonight, "barring a surprise," according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. "Team has held out hope but playing was considered an uphill battle since Saturday's injury," Fowler tweets. We'll see if Davis can make it back for this coming Sunday's game vs. the Dolphins. His absence figures to mean WR Khalil Shakir's debut, although the rookie is really only an option in DFS. Stefon Diggs, Isaiah McKenzie, Jamison and Dawson Knox are candidates for extra targets with Davis out.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo says Bills WR Gabriel Davis is "very much in question" for Monday night's game vs. the Titans. Davis sprained his ankle on a non-contact play in Saturday's practice, per Garafolo. Unless you have another strong option in 1 of the 2 Monday night games to replace Davis, we'd lean toward putting him on your bench this week.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis is questionable for Monday night's game against the Titans. Buffalo added him to the injury report Saturday after he sustained an ankle injury Saturday that limited his participation. Let's hope we get a status update before the Sunday games, otherwise we might have to start others over the uncertainty of Davis. Isaiah McKenzie, Jamison Crowder and Khalil Shakir stand as potential contingency plans among Buffalo wideouts, with Robert Woods, Kyle Philips and Treylon Burks in play among Titans -- plus the WRs in Monday night's Eagles-Vikings game, which kicks off after Bills-Titans.

After observing training camp, NFL insider Albert Breer writes that Bills WR Gabe Davis is “up in the mid-220s” and looks “bigger and leaner.” Davis was listed at 216 at the Combine; 210 on NFL.com. Breer adds that Davis has “really earned Josh Allen’s trust” — something the QB has talked about this offseason. The 3rd-year WR remains a clear breakout candidate.
