Tyler Huntley Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Dolphins QB Tyler Huntley exited in the third quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Colts with a right shoulder injury. He's been replaced by QB Tim Boyle. The Dolphins are mercifully expected to get QB Tua Tagovailoa back next week.

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said Tuesday that QB Tyler Huntley will start this weekend's game vs. the Patriots. The Fins managed just 12 points with Huntley at the controls of Monday night's loss to the Titans. Huntley finished 14-of-22 (64%) for 96 yards (4.4 YPA), 0 TDs, and 0 INTs -- although Dolphins receivers dropped two passes. Huntley also ran for 40 yards and Miami's only TD.

Dolphins HC Tyler Huntley will start Monday night's game vs. the Titans, HC Mike McDaniel said Saturday. Huntley joined the team less than two weeks ago, which tells you all you need to know about where Miami is at with their QB situation right now. Huntley made nine starts for the Ravens over the past three seasons and owns a career 64.6% completion rate and 5.7 yards per attempt.

Dolphins QB Skylar Thompson was knocked out in the third quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. Thompson took five sacks and numerous other big hits. He's been replaced by QB Tim Boyle. Miami recently signed QB Snoop Huntley, who is active as the emergency third QB today.

Update: Thompson has been ruled out with a chest injury.

The Dolphins are signing QB Tyler Huntley off the Ravens' practice squad, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports. Huntley made nine starts for the Ravens over the last three seasons. He sports a 64.6% career completion rate but just 5.7 yards per attempt and a 2.3% TD rate. He's a plus athlete, though, with 509 rushing yards and three TDs on 4.4 yards per attempt.

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley will start Saturday's regular-season finale vs. the Steelers, HC John Harbaugh said Wednesday. QB Lamar Jackson will get the day off after Baltimore clinched the AFC's No. 1 seed last week. We'll see whether Baltimore plans to play other key regulars like RB Gus Edwards, WRs Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham, and TE Isaiah Likely. They'd all make for risky Week 18 fantasy starts.

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley (shoulder, wrist) is active for tonight's Wild Card game vs. the Bengals. NFL Network reported this morning that Huntley is expected to start but that Baltimore might also use QB Anthony Brown. It's a situation to avoid in fantasy lineups.

NFL Network's Stacey Dales reports that Ravens QB Tyler Huntley (shoulder, wrist) is expected to start tonight's Wild Card game vs. the Bengals. He's officially listed as questionable with a wrist issue and what's been reported as tendonitis in his throwing shoulder. Dales hears that Huntley "made good progress" throughout the week -- but adds that there's a "possibility" that QB Anthony Brown also plays tonight. This is a situation to steer clear of in fantasy lineups of all types.

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley (right shoulder, wrist) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bengals. When asked on Friday, HC John Harbaugh declined to name a starter for this contest. Huntley himself said "it's a game-time decision" regarding his availability despite upgrading to full practice participation to end the week. Rookie QB Anthony Brown would be the starter should Huntley be inactive. Neither Huntley nor Brown are considering strong fantasy options this weekend.

Ravens QB Tyler Huntley (right shoulder, wrist) logged limited practice again on Thursday. We'll get a better view of his availability for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Bengals tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates.
