Fantasy Football News & Latest NFL Updates

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Giants WR Richie James (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Commanders. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so he’s seemingly on track to be cleared and play. James, of course, is just a low-upside play in PPR leagues. He caught 3 balls for 20 yards against Washington a couple of weeks ago.

Titans WR Treylon Burks (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Chargers. That leaves Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine as Tennessee's top 2 WRs once again -- and keeps TEs Chig Okonkwo and Austin Hooper in play for fantasy lineups.

Bengals TE Hayden Hurst (calf) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bucs. Mitchell Wilcox gets another game as lead TE but isn’t a fantasy option.

Bengals WR Tyler Boyd (finger) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Bucs. He practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, so Boyd is seemingly on track to play. He carries elevated risk, though, after dislocating a finger last week.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Bucs. He was limited in Wednesday and Thursday's practice and then a full-go on Friday. That's an upgrade from last week, when Higgins was added to the injury report on Thursday and limited on both Thursday and Friday. HC Zac Taylor confirmed on Friday that he expects Higgins to play this weekend. He, of course, carries plenty of risk after playing just 1 snap last week (after not being listed on the final injury report). We'll look for updates on Higgins' status throughout the weekend.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett will undergo surgery to repair his fractured finger, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "It's possible he only misses one game and is back for the final two," Rapoport adds. "But a firm timetable will be available post-surgery." We'll keep you update on Lockett's rehab and timeline for return. His absence next weekend will leave Marquise Goodwin as Seattle's #2 WR -- and leave potential targets for WR D.K. Metcalf and TE Noah Fant.

Panthers WR D.J. Moore (ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend’s game vs. the Steelers. He put in full practices on Wednesday and Thursday but was limited on Friday. "It's not so much of a setback,” HC Steve Wilks said of the Friday downgrade. “It's really just trying to see whether or not he's gonna be able to sustain and be efficient with what we're asking him to do." Between the ankle and a run-heavy offense piloted by Sam Darnold, Moore is a shaky Week 15 fantasy play.

Steelers QB Kenny Pickett (concussion) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game vs. the Panthers. He was limited in practice this week, but the team evidently doesn't expect him to be cleared by Sunday. QBs Mitchell Trubisky and Mason Rudolph reportedly split reps in practice this week, and HC Mike Tomlin declined to name a starter on Friday. You, of course, shouldn't be messing with the situation in Week 15 fantasy lineups.

Jets WR Corey Davis (concussion) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Lions. We'll see if he can get cleared for Week 16. Davis figures to be replaced on the outside by WR Denzel Mims, who isn't a viable fantasy play. WRs Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore have more target upside without Davis -- although both guys take a hit with Zach Wilson under center.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that doctors will not clear Jets QB Mike White for contact in time for Sunday's game with the Lions. That means QB Zach Wilson will return to the lineup. White twice left last Sunday's loss at Buffalo after taking shots to the midsection, but he returned each time. White said this week he was dealing with "general soreness," but he clearly sustained a more significant injury than he has conceded (likely to his ribs). So Wilson will return for the 1st time since his 9-for-22, 77-yard passing performance against the Patriots in Week 11. For the year, Wilson is averaging just 182.7 passing yards per game. White's 3 starts supplied 317.3 yards per game, at 0.6 more yards per pass attempt. The switch back is clearly bad news for Jets pass-catchers such as Garrett Wilson, Elijah Moore and Tyler Conklin. Check our updated Week 15 fantasy football rankings to see where everyone sits.

Update: HC Robert Saleh has confirmed that White is out for Sunday's game vs. the Lions and that Wilson will start.

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett broke a bone in his index finger late in Thursday night's loss to the 49ers, HC Pete Carroll said. It's unclear right now whether Lockett will need surgery, but Carroll suggested that the injury could sideline Lockett for the rest of the season. We should get more details on the situation today. Hang on to Lockett on fantasy rosters for now -- but prepare to be without him the rest of the way.

The Patriots now say WR Jakobi Meyers (concussion) did not practice on Thursday. He was originally listed as limited. It's a downgrade from a limited workout on Wednesday and has Meyers looking very iffy for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders. We'll get another update on his status tomorrow.

Packers RB Aaron Jones was limited in Thursday's practice. He's on the injury report with an ankle; it was reportedly a shin injury that limited him in Green Bay's last game prior to the Week 14 bye. We'll keep an eye on Jones over the next few days, but he should be ready for Monday night's game vs. the Rams.

Packers WR Romeo Doubs (ankle) put in a full practice on Thursday. He should be back for Monday night's game vs. the Rams but isn't a realistic fantasy play. We're expecting Doubs to return as Green Bay's 3rd or 4th WR, behind Christian Watson, Allen Lazard and potentially Randall Cobb.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley said Thursday that he feels "a lot better" now than he did this time last week and doesn't expect to be limited vs. the Commanders on Sunday night. Barkley is off this week's injury report after being listed as questionable with that neck issue last week. The matchup is tough this week, but Barkley's projected volume should land him in most fantasy lineups. He posted an 18-63-1 rushing line and 5-18 receiving against Washington back in Week 13.

Bengals WRs Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Tyler Boyd (finger) were limited again in Thursday's practice. Boyd said that he has "some pain" with that finger but is preparing to play vs. the Bucs this weekend. We'll see how these guys are listed on the final injury report tomorrow.

Titans WR Treylon Burks (concussion) remained sidelined on Thursday. He now looks like a long shot to be cleared in time for this weekend's game vs. the Chargers. That'll keep Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine atop the WR depth chart -- and keep TE Chig Okonkwo in play as a fantasy spot starter.

Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers (concussion) remained limited on Thursday. He still has work to do to get cleared for this weekend's game vs. the Raiders. We'll get another update on his progress tomorrow.

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday. He's looking unlikely to play vs. the Raiders this weekend. RB Damien Harris (thigh) was limited for the 2nd straight day. We'll get New England's final injury report tomorrow.

Broncos WRs Courtland Sutton and Kendall Hinton remained out on Thursday with their hamstring injuries. They're both looking unlikely to play vs. the Cardinals this weekend, which would leave WR Jerry Jeudy and TE Greg Dulcich as the clear top-2 options in the passing game.
