After missing 2 games, Brock Purdy returned to action, throwing for 309 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs in San Francisco's 26-21 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also had 13 rushing yards on 2 carries.
Turnovers ultimately unraveled the Niners. In addition to a pair of interceptions, Purdy lost one of the two fumbles that the Jaguars recovered.
Purdy missed two weeks with turf toe and the time off showed. He misfired on several easy throws. His 57.8% completion rate on Sunday was his lowest in a game since Week 7 of the 2024 season.
His mobility was also limited, but Purdy wasn't the only 49er dealing with an injury.

The hits keep on coming for San Francisco and they'll have very little time to recover. The 49ers to Los Angeles to face the Rams on Thursday Night Football in Week 5.
Purdy should be viewed as a low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 for next week's NFC West prime time showdown.
