Indianapolis Colts RB Jonathan Taylor boosted his fantasy MVP status with another massive performance in the first-ever NFL game at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany. Taylor carried the ball 32 times for 244 yards and 3 TDs, including the game-winner from 8 yards out, to lead the Colts to a 31-25 overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons. Taylor joined Jim Brown, Emmitt Smith, and LaDainian Tomlinson as just the fourth RB in NFL history to rush for 7,000-plus yards and score 70 TDs before turning 27 years old.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Any fantasy manager that slept in only to wake up and see they were playing against Taylor had a bad morning.
Taylor topped 200 rushing yards for the third time in his career. His 244 rushing yards this week against the Falcons were the second-highest single-game total of his career, behind only the 253-yard drubbing he put on Jacksonville in 2021.
This was the fifth time this season that Taylor has scored 3 TDs in a game. Three of those performances have come in the last four weeks.
His first score came on the opening drive of the game from 1-yard out to give the Colts a 7-0 lead.
TD No. 2 was an 83-yard jaunt that Taylor bounced outside and sprinted down the left sideline to put the Colts up 22-17. That score made Taylor the franchises all-time leader with 65 rushing TDs.
Atlanta RB Tyler Allgeier scored a pair of TDs, the second of which gave the Falcons a 25-22 lead with 4:18 left to play. But the Colts tied the game with a 44-yard field goal with 25 seconds remaining.
The Falcons received the ball first in overtime but punted. The Colts then drove 57 yards on 7 plays, which was capped off by Taylor's third score to seal the win.
Taylor added to his NFL lead in rushing yards and has now scored a league-leading 17 TDs. As long as he stays healthy, Taylor is in the driver's seat to win fantasy MVP honors.
