Josh Jacobs is Healthy and Dominating Work

Packers RB Josh Jacobs hasn't missed any games this year. But he did play through a calf injury for at least a couple of games, and a look at his snap shares and workloads indicates some impact. Jacobs got back to full playing time in Monday night's loss to the Eagles, though, and carried the offense. He handled 21 of 22 Green Bay RB carries for 74 yards and a TD. Jacobs also tallied a team-high 5 receptions for 33 yards on six targets (second among Packers). He did lost a fumble on his final touch, though, trying to extend a play on a fourth-and-1.

        What They're Saying

Jacobs on the fourth-quarter stop that produced his fumble; Philly's D called out the play before the snap: "As a runner, it don't ever feel good. Whenever they know what we're doing, it don't ever feel good because it changed my mind on how I'm going to run the ball, if we're being honest. It makes me guess on what I'm going to do. Obviously, people are smart. If we've got code words or whatever, you hear it a few times, you're going to eventually react to it. ... They said, 'Inside zone. It's coming right here.' So I kind of, like, didn't want to run right there. But yeah, that's just how it played out."

        2025 Fantasy Football Impact

The fumble hurt for fantasy but doesn't matter overall. Jacobs said the flub came when he was trying to pitch back to Jordan Love to keep the play alive. It also marked just the second time he has fumbled this year and the first time he has lost one.

The key takeaway for Jacobs here is the playing time and role. He logged a 73.5% snap share, his largest since Week 6. Week 7 found him questionable, with the calf issue and an illness. He remained limited by the calf for every practice through weeks 8 and 9.

Jacobs also stayed limited in the first two practices of Week 10, but the Packers listed them only as "vet rest" days. And the RB graduated to a full Friday workout before matching his season high for touches against the Eagles.

Jacobs has logged 20+ touches in seven of nine games this year and scored in eight of nine contests (including each of the past six).

That's made him one of the safest weekly bets in fantasy, and Green Bay's remaining schedule ranks above-average for RB scoring, according to our adjusted fantasy points allowed.
