Trevon Diggs Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Cowboys LB Eric Kendricks and CB Trevon Diggs have each been listed as missing practice Monday and Tuesday, ahead of the Thanksgiving Day game against the Giants. Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram says it's "gonna be close" for each guy making it back to play in that game.

Texans WR Nico Collins played his first game in over six weeks, catching four passes 54 yards on seven targets. He did have a TD called back due to a penalty. Collins has retained his athleticism, but struggled for most of the night against Trevon Diggs.

Cowboys LB Eric Kendricks (shoulder) and CB Trevon Diggs (calf) are active for today's game against the Falcons. Diggs remains a risk to see less playing time than usual, dealing with a calf tear that kept him out of practice all week. Kendricks played through his issue for a full snap share last week.

Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs suffered an ACL tear in Thursday's practice and will miss the rest of the season. That leaves one of the top-performing defenses so far without its lead cover man. Fantasy wise, it's probably not a big deal at least for matchups with the Cardinals and Patriots the next two weeks. And we're not significantly downgrading the Dallas DST overall. But losing a top coverage player and big-play producer certainly dings the upside of the Cowboys defense.

The Cowboys and CB Trevon Diggs have agreed to a five-year extension worth $97 million (plus incentives), according to multiple reports. The $19.4 million annual average ties Diggs for fifth at the position. The deal comes as no surprise. Diggs heads into just his fourth year and won't turn 25 until late September. He announced himself to the public with a league-leading 11 INTs in 2021. That number (predictably) tumbled in 2022, but Diggs improved in coverage. One measure: He allowed a career-low 12.1 yards per catch, down drastically from 18.7 in 2021. Diggs also saw 10 fewer targets in coverage last season despite playing 80 more snaps in coverage, according to Pro Football Focus. Expect the young CB to remain an inconsistent contributor in fantasy football leagues. Diggs sits low in our 2023 IDP rankings.

Cowboys LB Micah Parsons (illness), CB Trevon Diggs (illness) and EDGE Dorance Armstrong (knee) are all active for today's game against the Eagles, despite entering the day questionable. Use any as planned in your IDP lineups.

Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs (illness) and LB Micah Parsons (illness) are questionable for Saturday's game against the Eagles. EDGE Dorance Armstrong (knee) is also questionable. LB Leighton Vander Esch (neck) is officially out, leaving rookie Damone Clark to start in his place.

Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs hurt his right thumb in Sunday's win over the Texans. He left briefly but returned and played 91% of defensive snaps for the game. Diggs told reporters afterward that he doesn't expect to miss further game time with the injury.

Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs (illness) and S Jayron Kearse (shoulder) are active for tonight's game against the Colts.

Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs (illness) is questionable for Sunday night's game against the Colts. He missed the 1st 2 days of practice but returned for a limited workout Friday. HC Mike McCarthy said he expects Diggs to play, according to NFL.com.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, WR Stefon Diggs said he wants to finish his career in Buffalo. The 28-year-old mentioned how it would be a “dream” to team up with his brother, Cowboys DB Trevon Diggs, but that’s unlikely in the short-term. Stefon, of course, signed an extension in April that keeps him under contract through the 2027 season, so his words match his actions. (Trevon is signed for 2 more seasons.) If the Bill plays out his entire contract, he'll be a 35-year-old free agent.

The Cowboys on Friday downgraded CB Trevon Diggs and S Jayron Kearse from questionable to out. The Dallas secondary will also be without CB Anthony Brown, who landed on the COVID list. These are good developments for the DFS upside of Eagles QB Gardner Minshew and whichever WRs are playing Saturday

Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs (ankle) and DE Randy Gregory (knee) are active for today’s game against the Patriots. S Damontae Kazee (hip) and S Donovan Wilson (groin) are also active. We’d still bet on Jayron Kearse keeping the starting gig that once belonged to Wilson

The Cowboys expect CB Trevon Diggs to play through the questionable tag for his sprained ankle today against the Patriots, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. An active Diggs should probably be in IDP lineups. We'll confirm his status when the late-game inactives come out. Other questionable Dallas defenders: DE Randy Gregory (knee), S Damontae Kazee (hip) and S Donovan Wilson (groin).
